Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who
came from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
EmmanuelGod with us! This month we celebrate Jesus' birth, but Muslims reject both the idea of God's having a son
(which implies he had relations with a woman) and the claim that Jesus is God (which implies more than one God). Pray
during this Christmas season that the Spirit will help them see the miracle of the Incarnation, God's act of love for ALL!*

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

GUINEA-CONAKRY: An alumnus serving in AG leadership in Guinea asks us to pray that radical Islam will not
win over Guinea; we are noticing that it is becoming more and more difficult for Christians to find houses to rent.
[Muslim landlords often refuse to rent to Christians or demand an exorbitant amount.] Also, he says, Some of our
church properties are under dispute, and even though they are officially ours (according to administrative documents),
government leaders do not want to rule in our favor. Please pray that the Lord would work miracles for these
believers and churches and give them wisdomand that He would work in the hearts of those who oppose them.
SIERRA LEONE: Government authorities have called for a ban on Christmas and New Year's celebrations due to the
continuing spread of Ebola. Normal morning church services may be held, but people are to return home immediately
afterward, and patrols will keep people off the streets and prevent travel from Freetown to other districts. Many
Muslims here participate in Christmas celebrations, making this is an opportune time for outreach. But the Holy Spirit
is not bound by any restrictions! Pray that the message of God's love and Jesus' birth would touch their lives as never
before, especially as they seek peace in the midst of the Ebola crisis. Continue to pray for God's healing on this land.

In the News
This past Tuesday 7 Taliban terrorists invaded an army-run school in Peshawar, Pakistan, killing more than 140132
of them schoolchildren. Please pray for the families affected, that in their questioning they might see and turn to Jesus.
Pray for the Assemblies of God and other churches in Peshawar, that they might have opportunities to minister to
grieving neighbors and point them to the Prince of Peace.
Let's keep interceding for Pastor Saeed Abedini as he approaches his third Christmas in prison in Iran. His wife and
children in the U.S. need our prayers, as do his parents, who have had to leave Iran. After more than a month with no
visits, recently a relative was able to see him. Pray for healing, as Pastor Saeed's pain from his internal injuries has
worsened. He was able to send out a Christmas letter telling of his life in prison and his hope in Jesus, and giving a
message of encouragement. Read about it here: http://tinyurl.com/l7wmofd; scroll down to read the entire letter.

For Muslim Women**

Please pray that plans for a safe house for female victims of ISIS will receive the necessary clearances and support
from agencies in the country where it is being planted.
