(d) : As the country isn't a cavalry one, Nervii noble are use to fight on foot so i think they can dismount to
join the infantry force.
Design Notes
This list involve the best of the Belgae tribes ; The Nervii and some of theirs allies. Caesar described them as
the bravest of all the tribes of Gaul (".Omnium popularum Gallorum Belgae fortissimi sunt.." as he said). This
tribe was nearly to defeat the great Caesar at the Sambis battle in a full scale battle planned as a mega army
ambush!
As a very independent tribe, the Nervii were used with ambush warfare and fights in wooden area. Gallic
Belgium was like Germany, a heavily wooden and marshy country. Woods were sometime "fortified" with
strong hedges into impenetrable barriers.

However, at the battle of Montaperti, there was a small unit of "exotic" mounted bowmen accompanying a
noble that brought them from a crusade. So, perhaps other units of light horses fought in Italy in that period,
but they were not very widespread. That is the reason why I have included only 1 small LC unit in the list.

against Tibet that caused the development of a series of military provinces that led to the disastrous revolt of
An Lu-shan, a general of Turkish birth, in 755. So this is the date which marks the end of the Early Tang
period.
