This week we are learning:
Circle Time Review
We will be using this time to review the
vocabularies Santa Claus, Christmas,
present, stocking, bell, star, Christmas
tree, ornament, sleigh, reindeer,
snowman, candy cane, snow, cold,
snowball, skate, and ice.
To review these vocabularies we will be
singing the songs we learnt last week
Jingle bells and S-A-N-T-A.

Activity Time

We will be making Christmas trees made from popcicle sticks, green paint and sequence!
Christmas themed photo booth. We will create Christmas templates Santa, elf, reindeer etc
and share between K1 classrooms and take fun photographs.
We will also be making Paper plate Cotton wool snowman to hang up in the classroom!
Games:
Musical chairs - Players line up outside the ring of chairs while one non-player is in charge of
playing music. When the music begins, the players move, shake, and shimmy in a circle
around the chairs, but as soon as the music stops, the players must immediately find a chair.
Pass the parcel- a parcel is passed from one person to another. In preparation for the game, a
prize (or "gift") is wrapped in a large number of layers of wrapping paper. Usually, each layer is
of a different design so they can be easily distinguished.
Empty cup- Give each student an empty cup. Make them stand up and balance the cup on
their head upside down. Have them do actions orTPR. The last person to remain with the cup
still on their head is the winner.
