(b) Candidates belonging to OBC category seeking reservation and concession shall
invariably submit OBC Certificate with creamy layer status issued by the Competent
Authority in prescribed format which should have been issued within the stipulated date
as specified in the notice of the examination published in the Employment News/Rojgar
Samachar dated 19.01.2013 and also available in the official website of the Commission
(http://ssc.nic.in). Failure to produce OBC certificate as required by the Commission
will deprive the candidate of any reservation/concession admissible to the community
and such candidates will be considered as General (UR) candidates subject to fulfillment
of age limit and other short listing criteria for UR candidates.
Complete Discharge Book in support of your claim of belonging to Ex-Serviceman Category
(if applicable).
Certificate from the Office/Department [in case you are claiming age relaxation as a
Central Govt. Civilian Employee {CGCE}] in support of your claim that you have
completed three years
of regular service on the prescribed date and also
Official/Departmental endorsement/certificate with particulars, duly verified by your
office. (Please note that you will not be eligible for age relaxation admissible to the
Central Govt. Civilian Employee, if you have ceased to be in Govt. service). You will also
be required to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer in case you
have opted for age relaxation as CGCE employee, failing which you will not be allowed
to appear before the interview board.
In case you are a disabled Defence/BSF personnel, necessary Disability Certificate from the
Competent Authority;
Certificates in support of your claim regarding participation in extra-curricular
activities/games/sports, etc.
Six copies of Bio-data in the accompanying format, duly filled in, with recent Passport size
photograph affixed and signed across by you;
Certificates in support of your claim regarding experience, if any, indicating the nature of
duties performed and the functions of the organization where such experience was gained.
Photo Identity Card in original like Voter Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card
etc.

If you do not produce any of the above mentioned documents in original (along with their
self attested copies) which are required for determining eligibility for the interview in question,
excepting the documents mentioned against Nos. (viii) at para 2 above, you will not be admitted for
the interview under any circumstances whatsoever and no further opportunity will be accorded
to take the interview. However, the documents against Nos. (viii) at para 2 above are required to be
produced in support of your claim mentioned therein (Bio-data), failing which your claim will not be
taken into account.

No travelling or other expenses will be paid by the Commission for attending the interview.
However, eligible candidates belonging to SC/ST Communities attending the interview will be
reimbursed to and fro 2nd class Railway fare or bus fare chargeable by the shortest route, provided that
the fare of the first 30 KMs in both cases, is borne by the candidates. No extra charges, if any,
incurred for reserving seats, sleeping berths in the train, will however, be reimbursed to the
candidates. The candidates must furnish details like distance travelled, mode of travel, ticket number,
actual fare paid by the candidate etc. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories in service under the
Central/State Government/Corporation/Public Sector Undertakings/Local Governments/ Institutions/
Panchayats will not, however, be eligible for such reimbursement.

Any change in your present postal address should be communicated to this office at once
indicating your Roll No., name of the examination and the post applied for and the changed address.

You have the option to converse either in English or Hindi in the interview.

The Interview is structured in such a manner that the candidates interests, knowledge,
various traits, aptitude, suitability etc. are probed, among other things, through academic
qualifications, extra-curricular activities, general awareness/knowledge, depth of knowledge of the
subject studied (10+2 onwards), communicative skill and personality etc. Candidates are expected to
be well versed in the subjects studied by them at the minimum qualification level and/or
Graduation/Post Graduation level as the case may be. You are, therefore, advised to prepare yourself
for General Awareness and subjects studied by you at the above-mentioned levels.

Your candidature is Provisional. You must in your own interest go through the detailed
instructions contained in the Notice of the examination (available on the website of the Commission
http://ssc.nic.in) and related corrigendum to the Notice issued from time to time and ensure that you
fulfill all the conditions of eligibility laid down in the advertisement/notice of the Examination. If at
any stage it is found that you do not fulfill any of the conditions of eligibility, your candidature
will be cancelled and no appeal against such cancellation will be entertained.

Please note that date, time and venue of document verification and interview is final and
no request for change will be entertained. If you fail to appear for interview/document verification on
the scheduled date and time you will not be allowed to appear in the skill test (CPT/DEST) to be held
on a later date nor will you be considered for any non-interview post for which even skill test is not
required.

The Commission will not be responsible for late/non-receipt of this letter due to delay in
postal transit etc.

Canvassing in any form will result in cancellation of your candidature.
