Every company shall have a Board of Directors and shall have

appointing more than 15 directors, it should pass a special
resolution. Such company shall have at least one woman

A company may be formed for any lawful purpose by (a) 7 or

concept of one person company was introduced. Maximum
members in a private company was increased from 50 to 200.

Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA).

National Food Security Bill, 2013: It provides for a legal entitlement to 67 % population (75 %
rural and 50 % urban) for subsidized food grains under TPDS
(targeted public distribution system).
The eligible population will have uniform entitlement of 5 kg
food grains per month per person at rate of Rs 3, Rs 2 and Rs 1
for rice, wheat and coarse grain respectively.
The poorest of poor households would continue to receive 35 kg
food grain per household per month under Antodaya Anna
Yojana at subsidized prices of Rs 3, Rs 2 and Rs.
States will identify the eligible households.
Pregnant women and lactating mothers besides being entitled to
nutritious meals will also receive maternity benefit of at least Rs
6000. Children in age group of 6 months to 14 years will be
entitled to take home ration or hot cooked food.

Posthumous Bharat Ratna award to Subhas Chandra Bose was
announced in 1992 but was later withdrawn on issue of confirmed
death. The award has been conferred to a naturalised Indian citizen,

and Nelson Mondela.

RBI has appointed P J Nayak committee to review the governance of

incorporated under companies act. A bank investment company (BIC)
should be constituted to which Govt will transfer its holdings in
banks.

The govt has fixed the MSP (minimum support prices) for rabi crops
of 2013-14 season to be marketed in 2014-15. For wheat it is 1400 per
quintal with an increase of 50. For barley, it is raised by 120 to 1100
per quintal. For grain and masur (lentil), it is raised by 100 and 50 to
3100 and 2950 per quintal. For mustard, it is raised by 50 to 3050 per
quintal and for safflower; it is raised by 200 to 3000 per quintal.
Current account deficit has declined to 0.9 % of GDP in third quarter
of 2013-14.
