The Model 442-3 IR-EYE tm Integrated Sensor is a Lithium Tantalate pyroelectric parallel opposed
dual element high gain detector with complete integral analog signal processing. This unit offers
greatly improved detection capability over an extended temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees C.
with no significant change in noise or sensitivity and significantly reduced temperature spiking.

Pyroelectric Sensor Package
The 442-3 is also available as a package (part # R3-PYRO1) with matched Fresnel lens, application
notes, spec sheet, and pattern for making a cone to hold detector and lens in the proper orientation.
