The beautiful form of ri Pndurang stands on a brick with His hands resting on His
waist. He is dressed in yellow silken garments (ptmber) & a beautiful Tulsi garland
decorates His neck. Tkrm Mahrj says "My happiness lies in this meditation. With
great relish I shall behold the beautiful lotus face of my Lord.

O dear Lord, husband of rimati Rukmini devi, please let my eyes be always fixed on your
beautiful form. Your name and form are very sweet & I pray that let there be love for them
in my heart. 0 Lord Vihala! 0 Mother! Please benedict me that You may eternally remain
within my heart. Tkrm Mahrj says I do not wish for any other benidiction, for all
happiness lies at Your Lotus feet.

Sing the glories of Lord Vihala in your songs. Meditate on Lord Vihala in your heart &
see with your eyes the beautiful form of Lord Vihala standing on a brick. Lord Vihala is
the shelter of all orphan (conditioned) souls of this world & He is an ocean of mercy. He
is the one who can break the bonds of repeated cycle of birth & death & that of Yamaraj.
He awards liberation to those who take shelter of His Lotus Feet & is always found in the
association of saintly devotees. Lord Vihala is the treasure of all wonderful qualities &
He is the real perfection to be achieved. I have acheived complete absorption in His holy
name. Tkrm Mahrj says "I am feeling great ecstasy in chanting His holy name & so
my mouth experiences a sweet taste.

The lotus flower does not know the taste of its nectar. That is tasted by the bumblebees.
Similarly, 0 Lord, You do not know the sweetness of Your Name. We devotees are like the
bees who, with great love and devotion taste that divine nectar. The mother cow eats grass
& produces milk which is tasted by the calf. One who produced it has never tasted it.
Tkrm Mahrj says A pearl is born of the oyster but it is enjoyed by others. The oyster
shall never get to enjoy the pearl.

O Lord, let your beautiful blackish form that attracts the mind always be situated in my
heart. 0 Lord, Your Holy Name is very sweet & thereby I do not desire anything else
except Your Holy Name. We have been praying for this benediction life after life. Please 0
Lord, now give us this benediction easily. Tkrm Mahrj says 0 Lord, there is no one
more merciful than You.

O Lord, I have an intense desire for Your audience & thus I am eagerly waiting for you,
day and night. Just as the cakora bird waits eased for the full moon, my mind waits for
You. 0 Lord, Just as a lady in the house of her in-laws, waits for a diwali invitation from
her own parents, I am waiting for Your invitation from Pandhari. Just as a hungry child
waits for its mother to feed it, I wait for You O Mother! Tkrm Mahrj says I am very
hungry for Your mercy O Lord! Please rush and show me Your Lotus Face.

Just by chanting the Holy Name, material existence ceases to exist. Thus please take
advantage of this facility & the result will be that you shall get to embrace the lotus feet of
Lord Vihala. There is no other means to achieve Lord Hari than His Holy Names.
Tkrm Mahrj says I call out to everyone. Please do not live without chanting the
Holy Names.

O Brothers, the Vaishnavas start dancing in the desert to the chanting Lord Haris glories.
Making anger & false pride as footsteps they touch the feet of each other. As they dance to
the chanting of the Holy Name they are shielded to the influence of Kali and thus each
one is more powerful than the other. They are decorated with tilaka made of gopichandan,
garlands & tulsi beads. The Kartal & mdanga make a tumultuous sound & there is a
showering of flowers. This enthusiasm of devotees is beyond comparison. Seeing them
absorbed in the kirtan, foolish people, women, scholars, janis, yogis, great personalities,
siddhas & even the sadhakas achieve the state of samddh. Forgetting their position in
Varnshrama and their castes they offer their obeisances to each other. Their hearts have
become pure like butter & by their association even a stone hearted person melts.
Tkrm Mahrj says, Lord Haris name is being Glorified & thus the sky vibrates. Thus
vaishnavas with the bliss of bhakti, made an easy path out of the ocean of material
existence.

The different types of trees & creepers, the animals in the forests, the birds singing
sweetly are my relatives. By the bliss of this atmosphere, seclusion has become very dear
to us. There is no credit to fault that comes our way here. The sky is the roof & earth the
seat (sana) to sit on. Thus wherever our mind finds pleasure we will allow it to play
there. The paraphernalia to protect our body is a blanket & a kamanalu & to know the
time we take help of the breeze. At this place, our meal is Lord Hari kath & sitting in a
row we will taste several preparations. Tkrm Mahrj says, in such seclusion we will
have dialogue with our own mind & thus we discuss with ourselves.

I engaged in the efforts of Bhakti to Lord Hurl so that my last day be wonderful by
remembering Lord Hari, as I give up my body. Now I rest without any worries and all
material urges & attraction seem to have disappeared. I spent my life in chanting the Holy
Names of Lord Hari and I feel great joy for having done so. Tkrm Mahrj says I have
married Mukti & thus I shall spend my last days with her.

maha yoga peete thate bheema radhya,
varam pundarikay dathum muneendrai,

I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who is the source of immense
happiness, Who stays in the great seat of yoga, in the banks of Bheema, Along with great
seers to fulfill the boon to Pundarika.
Thatidhwsasam Neelameghavabhasam,
Rama mandiramm sundraram chith prakasam,
Varam thwishtakayam samanyasthapadam,
Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 2
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who has firmly placed his
blessed feet on the bricks, Who is dressed like a streak of lightning, Who is of the colour
of the blue clouds, Who is the abode of Goddess Lakshmi, And who is pretty and is the
splendour of the inner mind.
Pramanam bhavabhdhoridam maamakaanaam,
Nithambha karabhyam drutho yena thasmath,
Vidhaurvasathyai drutho nabhi kesa,
Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 3
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who by keeping his two hands
on his waist, Tells us all that this worldly life is only waist deep, And who created the
holy lotus from his navel, So that the creator himself can live there.
Sphurath kousthubhalankritham kanda dese,
Sriya jushta keyurakam Srinivasam,
Shivam Shantha meedyam, varam loka palam,
Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 4
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who decorates his neck by
wearing the Kaushthubha gem, Who has armlets of rarest charm,Who is the abode of
Goddess of wealth, Who is calm and peaceful,And who is the protector of the world.
Sarad Chandra bimbananam Charuhasam,
Lasath kundala aakrantha Ganda sthalangam,

Japaraga bimbadharam kanja nethram,


Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 5
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who is as bright as the moon of
autumn, Who has a very captivating smile, Whose shining ear studs covers his holy
cheeks, Who has red lips like the hibiscus flower and the Bimba fruit, And whose eyes are
like lotus flowers.
Kireedojwalath sarva dhik prantha bhagam,
Surair architham Divya rathanair anarghyair,
Tribhangakruthim barha malyavathamsam,
Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 6
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Whose shine of the crown
illuminates all sides, Who is being worshipped using invaluable gems by the devas, Who
assumes a posture with three bends, And who wears garlands and peacock feathers.
Vibhum venu nadham charantham durantham,
Swayam leelaa gopa vesham dadanam,
Gavaam brunda kanandadam charu hasam,
Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 7
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who is all pervasive and sings
with his flute, Who spells the doom for the bad ones, Who playfully wears the attire of the
cowherd, Who brings great happiness to the herd of cows, And who has a lotus like smile.
Ajam Rukmani prana sanjeevanam tham,
Param dhama kaivalyamekam thureeyam,
Prasannam prapannarthiham deva devam,
Parabrahma lingam baje pandurangam. 8
I worship that Panduranga, who is the absolute Brahman, Who was not born to any one,
Who is the panacea for the soul of Rukmani, Who is supreme light, Who is the only way
to redemption, Who is the fourth higher state of humans, Who is forever with satisfaction,
Who is the God of gods, And who removes problems of those who seek refuge in him.
Sthavam pandurangasya vai punyadham ye,
Padanthyeka chithena bhakthya cha nithyam,
Bhavmbhonidhim they api theerthava anthakale,
Harer alayam saswatham prapnuvanthi. 9
He who reads with devotion and concentration daily, This holy prayer addressed to
Panduranga, Would cross with ease, this ocean of life, And at the end attain the world of
Vishnu permanently.
