Centre Stage Performing Arts offers tuition in all performing
arts areas including Dance, Cheerleading & Singing.
We have classes for students of all ages ranging from 2.5
years to adults!

What Makes CSPA different to other dance schools?

At Centre Stage Performing Arts, we pride ourselves on the
ability to teach students who attend classes just for fun, as
well as train those who dream of a career in the performing
arts.
We are an affordable school that offers professional tuition
in all areas of the performing arts.

Our studios all have the required equipment for each style
of dance, our teachers are all experienced and qualified in
their fields.

We are a family friendly performing arts school and we

understand that students have hobbies outside of class. We
support them in everything they do!

At Centre Stage Performing Arts, all students are treated as

equals.Every student is offered the opportunity to perform
in our annual concert, various eisteddfods and community
events - such as the Newcastle Show!
We also offer classes for people with special needs!

Enrolment information:

Private Lessons:

We have a free trial week of classes for all new

students in 2015.

Private lessons are available for one on one

tuition in Dance and Singing.

We have an enrolment fee of $25 for one

student or $50 for 2 or more.
This must be paid at any of our enrolment days
or the first day of term 1.

These lessons are for students wishing to obtain

a higher strength and understanding in
technique & performance skills.

Our 2015 trial week runs from 2nd-5th Feb with

Term 1 commencing on Monday 2nd February.

Staying Updated:
Newsletters with upcoming important dates
and information are sent out via email.
A Facebook notification is also posted to let
you know when emails have been sent.
We have a public Studio page as well as a
private students only page. Please be sure to
read your newsletters thoroughly as CSPA will
take no responsibility for misread information.
We always have a small amount of newletters
at classes for those whose emails bounce back
or those who do not have an email address.

Depending on the students dedication and

effort throughout lessons, they may featured at
performances throughout the year as well as
given opportunities to perform in local
eisteddfods.

Annual Concert Spectacular:

All students are given the opportunity to
perform at our end of year concert, held at the
wonderful Hunter Theatre in Broadmeadow.
Students wishing to be a part of this fantastic
event are required to attend all concert
rehearsals, dress & technical rehearsals and
our 2014 photo shoot.
The photos are always a lovely piece of
memorabilia for the students, families and
friends to look back on and see how far the
child has come and what wonderful friends
they have made in the process!
Concert DVDs are available to order 2 weeks
prior to the concert at $45 each. Please do not
expect to receive these until Jan 2016.

Our STUDIO UNIFORM is only available through direct orders

and is specially & locally made.
Wearing the correct uniform to classes is very important.
It is designed to allow our teachers to correct the students posture,
alignment and technique.

STUDIO CODE OF CONDUCT:

At Centre Stage Performing Arts, we pride ourselves on providing an
enviroment that is a happy, nurturing, professional place where studnets
and parents love to come to lessons.

The achieve this, we need to keep a few simple rules in place:

CSPA is a NUT FREE ZONE. No nuts may brought into the studios at any time
due to allergies.
All students are to treat each other with respect. Absolutely no harrasment or
discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.
Students are to be supervised by a parent or guardian before and after class.
Teacher supervision does not extend to after class time.
Students are to always bring a water bottle to class as it is important to stay
hydrated. No food is allowed in the studios. Medical reasons are an
exception.
As there may not always be an administrative staff member at classes, please
email all enquiries & concerns to the principal. We do not have time between
classes for the teachers to be answering enquiries as the students can lose
precious class time. Our private student only facebook page is also a great
way to communicate with staff.
All students and parents are to treat the studios with respect as we hire these
halls and they are not ours to damage.
Parents & Guardians are not permitted to watch the classes take place. This is
a distraction to both teachers and students. Parents of new students may
observe the first 15 minutes of a class and will then be asked to leave. The last
days of Term 1 & 2 are open days where all parents and family members are
invited to watch the classes.
By entering the studio, you accept that there may be risks inherent in attending
or participating in associated activities. Centre Stage Performing Arts accepts
no responsibility for any injury, harm or illness incurred from participation in
classes or events.

COSTUMES
Throughout the year, students are
encouraged to perform in a number of
local charity events, festivals &
eisteddfods. For the majority of these
events, the studio uniform is to be worn.
However, for special events and our end
of year concert, costumes will be
required.
We try our best to keep everything as
affordable as possible for all our
students & their families. Small hire fees
may be required for special events and
of course, hired costumes cannot be
kept.

1.5Allcashmustbeputinaclearlymarkedenvelopeincludingstudentsnameandclasses.Cashwithoutanenvelopewillnotbe

1.6All payments for terms 1, 2 & 3 mustbefinalizedattheendofeachterm, failuretodosowilljeopardizeyourchild/childrens

2.3Thefirstaidkitisavailabletoanystudentthroughtheirteacher.Duetonewregulationsweareunabletoprovideanyonewith
Panadolorequivalentmedication.
2.4Allmedicalconditionsmustbereportedontheenrolmentform.
CLASSATTIREPOLICIESANDPROCEDURES
3.1Allstudentsmustbeappropriatelydressedinstudiouniformforeachclass,withthecorrectfootwearforeachgenre.
3.2Allstudentsmustbeappropriatelygroomedforclass,withtheirhairneatlypulledback.

3.4InappropriatelydressedorgroomedstudentsmaynotbeabletoparticipateinclassactivitiesduetoOH&S.
