Dear Mr Cunningham,
I am writing to apply for the post of camp monitors advertised on the company website.
I hold a degree in Teacher Primary from the University of Alicante, and I also attended two
important training courses. One of them qualifies me as a social and camp monitor, and the
other qualifies me as a risk sports monitor, consequently I know how to deal with all kinds
of children, their different behaviors and how to motivate them. Besides, I have a high level
of English.
As you will see from my CV, I have some relevant experience because I have worked for
two months as camp monitor last summer. I was in charge of environmental activities such
as surfing, hiking or football so as to doing gastronomic workshop. The camp director would
be happy to provide a reference. On the other hand, I am used to dealing with children and
teenagers as I have been working as voluntary playgroups for two years.
I would welcome the chance to be part of your company. I believe I would be suitable for
the job advertised because of my experience and my reputation among teachers for being
cheerful, hard-working and reliable. Moreover, I enjoy working in a team since I get on well
with people
I attach a full CV, and if you require any further information, I would be happy to provide it. I
would also be grateful if you could send me some information regarding place of camp.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Susana Beresaluze Gil

Dear mr. Richardson!

I am writing to apply for the position of a camp monitor at a residential Summer camp.
I am a 31st years old teacher working nowadays as a private English tutor. I graduated the
pedagogical university in Russia and spent half a year in Finland working as a volunteer. My
English level is C1 according to CEFR and Im going to take TKT exam at the end of August. I
also had the first-aid courses.
As you can see from my CV I had a great experience working with children. During my EVS
programme in Finland I communicated with disadvantaged teenagers and young Somalian
refugees. I also helped the local sport club organizing competitions for little kids. Being at
university I worked as a camp monitor with children were aged 7 or 8. I also collaborated with
disable kids because I worked as a volunteer in a school for deaf children and children with
middle-ear disease.
At university I studied stage art disciplines, dancing and world art history, so I am good and
helpful in organising special events, funny competitions and stage performances. I know many
funny games and activities both for spending free time or for educational purposes. I really like
children and enjoy working in a team. I am interested in science fiction, cinema and mythology
which could be useful during the camp monitor duties.
I hope my operational experience is appropriated to this position. I would like to work in a
Summer camp in July or in the first half of August. If you require any further information please

regarding to accommodation in a camp.
I look forward to your answer.
