By Vince Albrecht
HACKENSACK, NJ - The Stan Niemiec youth travelers were sizzling
in Hackensack and grabbing center stage was a pair of eighth-graders.
Thirteen-year-old Tom Chamberlain drilled the maples with 255-220209-684, and with the aid of DePaul senior Joe Malyack 220-215-627,
carried the Holiday II squad to a sweep of the seven points available
against the vacancy. Fourteen-year-old Steve Kropilak was all smiles,
thrilled at the comfort and ease with which he delivered his new ball,
confidently blazing away posting a stellar round of 220-192-269-681. In
his closing game, Steve left a 10-pin after stringing eight strikes and
without losing focus, finished the frame with the spare and ended his
game clean, collecting a strike/spare in the tenth. Teammate Nick

a come-from-behind three-point gain, 1104-956 to grab the wood, 28402824 from North Arlington which won the first two games.
Adding to North Arlingtons potent arsenal, Lyndhurst senior Jordan
Lopez made his first appearance noteworthy by effectively employing
his two-handed delivery in racking up 192-221-226-639. Anchor Tyler
Keefe was similarly adept at chasing the pins off the deck, tallying 199211-221-631.
