CYCLE:1 and 2 WEEK: 13 TOPIC: Place near my Home


AIM:Students will learn the name of places near their home.

PROCEDURE

Counting Game: Students have to sit in a circle and give their


hands, a student starts clapping his hand with the hand of the
student aside of him and counting One, the next student will do
the same and count Two, and so on. You can make the game
funnier by applying consequences for who miss the counting, like
doing a mimic, counting from 1 to 20, countdown from 20 to 0.

Teacher will teach students the name of common places near their
houses, like Bakery, Fruits Store, School, Church, park, My house,
Street, Hospital, etc

TBL Activity

Students will prepare a map of their neighborhood, cutting image of


places and pasting on the map, The images will have the name of

the place, but with some letters missing for the students fill. (This
may take some time of the next class)

Draw guessing game.


Teacher will divide class in 3 groups, each group will have a
Drawer per turn. The drawer will receive a word, he has 15
seconds to do a draw. A team scores a point if says the correct
word in those 15 seconds.
