INTRODUCTION

The company we have chosen for our project is OA SYSTEMS. It is a US based company which
is providing their clients with the facilities of IT and network for past 20 years. They converted
the work of their clients from manual to electronic media. OA Systems was founded by an
American named Luis Chanu. The head office is located in San Francisco, LA. Later they started
with another branch in Karachi, Pakistan in 2005. This was made for the purpose of developing
the network or software for their clients. They commenced another branch in Islamabad in
2011 and this was made the head office of Pakistan. OA Systems was a subscription based
company, their main purpose was selling and serving their clients. The area of specialty was
health care. They initiated with the idea that everyone needs a health insurance to make sure
that every person on this earth is safe from diseases. The company took control over the data
of the patients, medication and the doctors as well. They made a website through which the
doctor can check their patients record which was quite helpful when deciding the medication.
Another portal was made through which the patient could also view the information that was
required to him. When it comes to the safety of a human being the most important factor
required for a health institute is the certification and OA System was one of the certified
companies in US. The companys other areas of work are digital marketing, graphic designing
and architecture. The head office in Islamabad had 40 employees in total. The staff was well
qualified, they had an employee who was the first Google certified person in Pakistan. The
number of departments were five including sales/marketing department, accounts/finance
department, quality assurance, research & development and data base administration. They
had a horizontal structure and every problem was reported to the country head. The employee
turnover rate is very low approximately 5%. OA Systems also initiated the concept of electronic
prescription which was dynamic, certified, secure and economical. The company gave a billing
service which was quite efficient and convenient for the clients by the name of claims cure.
They treat their employees like a family and also send them to places for their vacations. The
major policies and decision making of the company was done by the country head.

MISSION:
Every company has a mission and OA Systems has the mission of making accessible,
uncomplicated and user friendly health information technology products. The main objective is
to contribute in the field of health care so that everyone can feel safe.

Encourage people to use electronic medium for data recording.

To add value and contribute to the field of health care.

Provide our clients with all the services they require.

To make our employees feel important and special.

Offering and expedite an atmosphere which is required by the employees to fulfil their
tasks.

Bringing the best health care software in the industry in less expensive rates.

Promoting the idea of health insurance.

Provide the best services in our area of work and to build a customer trust.
