END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (THIS AGREEMENT ) CAREFULLY. BY CLICKI

F WHICH THE GAME CLIENT SOFTWARE (THIS SOFTWARE ) IS A COMPONENT, YOU AGREE THAT TH
IS AGREEMENT IS ENFORCEABLE LIKE ANY WRITTEN CONTRACT SIGNED BY YOU. IF YOU DO
NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT, CLICK ON THE BUTTON THAT INDICAT
ES THAT YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, AND DO NOT COMPL
ETE INSTALLATION OF THE SOFTWARE.
I. License Grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Riot G
ames, Inc. ( Riot Games ) hereby grants to the user ( You ) a non-exclusive, non-transfe
rable license to internally install and execute solely as a component of the Gam
e (i)the Software and related explanatory materials ( Documentation ); and (ii)any Sof
tware upgrades, patches, subsequent versions, and updates (collectively Updates ) l
icensed to You by Riot Games.
II. Term/Termination. This Agreement is effective upon Your installation of the
Software and shall continue until terminated as provided herein. This Agreemen
t will terminate automatically if You fail to comply with any of the limitations
or other requirements described herein. Upon any termination or expiration of
this Agreement, You must cease use of the Software and destroy all copies of the
Software in Your possession or control.
III. Ownership Rights. You do not own the Software. The Software is protected
by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties, and is licensed
and not sold. Riot Games and its suppliers own and retain all right, title and
interest in and to the Software and You do not acquire any rights to the Softwar
e except as expressly set forth in this Agreement. All intellectual property ri
ghts in and to the Game (including, but not limited to any titles, computer code
, objects, artifacts, characters, character names, locations, location names, st
ories, story lines, dialog, catch phrases, artwork, structural or landscape desi
gns, animations, sounds, musical compositions and recordings, audio-visual effec
ts, character likenesses, and methods of operation) are owned or licensed by Rio
t Games. The Game may contain materials licensed by third parties, and the licen
sors of those materials may enforce their rights in the event of any violation o
f this License Agreement.
IV. Additional License Limitations. The license granted to you in Section I is
subject to the limitations set forth in Sections II, III and IV (collectively, t
he License Limitations ). Any use of the Software in violation of the License Limi
tations is an unauthorized use of the Software outside of the license granted to
you in Section I, and will be regarded as an infringement of the copyrights Rio
t Games holds in and to the Software and the Game. You agree that you will not,
under any circumstances:
A. sell, lease, license, rent, loan or otherwise transfer the Software;
B. reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
C. modify or cause to be modified any files that are part of the Software in any
way not expressly authorized by Riot Games;
D. make use of, or cause any other person or entity to make use of, the Software
or the Game for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to (i) partic
ipating in the Game in exchange for payment (e.g. leveling services), (ii) the sal
e of in-Game items outside of the Game, except as such transactions may be autho
rized by Riot Games and conducted via services provided by Riot Games, and (iii)
the sale of Game accounts, except as such transactions may be authorized by Rio

t Games and conducted via services provided by Riot Games;

E. create derivative works based upon the Software or the Game in whole or in pa
rt for any purpose, except that you are authorized to (i) make one copy of the S
oftware and the Documentation for personal archival purposes only, and (ii) use
third party image and video capture software to capture the output of the Softwa
re as audio, video and/or still image files for personal, not for profit use pur
suant to the Terms of Service;

F. use any unauthorized third party programs, including but not limited to mods,
ha
cks,
cheats,
scripts, bots,
trainers, and automation programs, that interact with th
tware in any way, for any purpose, including but not limited to any unauthorized
third party programs that intercept, emulate, or redirect any communication bet
ween the Software and Riot Games and any unauthorized third party programs that
collect information about the Game by reading areas of memory used by the Softwa
re to store information.
V. Consent to Monitor and Termination of Access. When You are using the Softwar
e, the Software may monitor Your computer's random access memory for unauthorize
d third party programs prohibited by Section IV.F that interact with the Softwar
e or the Game. In the event that the Software detects an unauthorized third part
y program prohibited by Section IV.F, information may be communicated back to Ri
ot Games, including the name of your account, your internet protocol (IP) addres
s, details about the unauthorized third party program detected, and the time and
date that the unauthorized third party program was detected, with or without ad
ditional notice to You. No other information about You or Your computer will be
communicated to Riot Games. If the Software detects the use of an unauthorized
third party program, Your access to the Game may be terminated with or without
additional notice to you.
VI. Updates. Riot Games may provide Updates to the Software that must be instal
led for You to continue to play the Game. You hereby grant to Riot Games Your co
nsent to install such Updates to Your computer without additional notification t
o You.
VII. Terms of Service. You must accept the Terms of Service in order to use the
Game. The Terms of Service Agreement governs all aspects of game play. You ma
y view the Terms of Service at http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/termsofservi
ce. If you do not agree to the Terms of Service, then you may not register for
an account or play the Game.
VIII. Termination of Agreement. This Agreement is effective until terminated. Y
ou may terminate the Agreement at any time by removing the Software from Your co
mputer s permanent memory, destroying any copy of the software you may have made p
ursuant to Section IV.E, and notifying Riot Games of your intention to terminate
this Agreement. Riot Games may terminate this Agreement at any time for any rea
son or no reason. Upon termination, Your license grant as set forth in Section I
shall immediately terminate and you must immediately remove the Software from y
our computer s permanent memory and destroy any copy of the software you may have
made pursuant to Section IV.E.
IX. Changes to the Agreement. You agree that Riot Games has right to change, mo
dify, add to, supplement or delete any of the terms and conditions of this Agree
ment, effective upon notice as follows: Riot Games will post the revised version
of this Agreement on the League of Legends website and will also provide You th
e opportunity to accept or reject the modified agreement when launching the Game
. If the changes to the Agreement are unacceptable to you or cause you to no lo
nger be in compliance with the Agreement, you may terminate the Agreement in acc
ordance with Section VIII.

Termination and Changes to Game. You acknowledge have no interest, monetary

otherwise, in any feature of or content in the Game. You agree that Riot Gam
may stop providing support for or access to the Game at any time for any reas
or no reason. You also agree that Riot Games may change, modify, suspend, ner
discontinue, or restrict Your access to any features or parts of the Game at a
time without notice or liability to You.

XI. Warranty and Disclaimer.

A. Warranty Disclaimer. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED TO YOU AS IS AND RIOT GAMES MAKE
S NO WARRANTY, CONDITION OR REPRESENTATION (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER BY STATU
TE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, USAGE OR OTHERWISE) AS TO ANY MATTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT
LIMITATION, NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, INTEGRATION,
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SELECTI
NG THE SOFTWARE TO ACHIEVE YOUR INTENDED RESULTS, AND FOR THE INSTALLATION OF, U
SE OF, AND RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SOFTWARE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING,
RIOT GAMES MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT THE GAME
WILL BE FREE FROM INTERRUPTIONS OR OTHER FAILURES, OR THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL ME
ET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
XII. Limitation of Liability. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY,
WHETHER IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL RIOT GAME
S BE LIABLE TO YOU OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL,
OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES FOR
GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR WOR
K STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGE OR LOSS. I
N NO EVENT SHALL RIOT GAMES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF ANY AMOUNT YO
U HAVE PAID RIOT GAMES FOR THE GAME AND GAME-RELATED TRANSACTIONS, IF ANY, EVEN
IF RIOT GAMES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
XIII. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Riot Games f
rom and against all claims or lawsuits, including attorney s fees, that arise or r
esult from Your use or misuse of the Software, or violation of any of the terms
of this License.
XIV. Export Controls. The Software is subject to all applicable export restrict
ions. You must comply with all export and import laws and restrictions and regul
ations of any United States or foreign agency or authority relating to the Softw
are and its use. The Software may not be downloaded or installed by a national
or resident of any country to which the U.S. has embargoed goods, or to anyone o
n the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the U
.S. Commerce Department's Table of Denial Orders. You represent and warrant that
You are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any
such country or on any such list.
XV. Entire Agreement. This Agreement (including any amendments You subsequently
agree to and the Terms of Service Agreement, which is incorporated herein by re
ference) represents the complete agreement between You and Riot Games concerning
the subject matter of the Agreement, and supersedes any prior agreements and re
presentations between You and Riot Games.
XVI. Reform and Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be
unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be reformed to the extent nec
essary to make it enforceable to the maximum extent permissible so as to affect
the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in
full force and effect.
XVII. Applicable Law And Venue. This Agreement shall be governed by and constru
ed under the laws of the state of California without reference to its conflict o
f law principles. Each party agrees to submit to the exclusive and personal jur

isdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California. The United Na
tions Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the Unifor
m Computer Information Transactions Act shall not apply to this Agreement.

F THIS AGREEMENT AND DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE GAME.
I. Accounts. Riot Games ( Riot Games ) has designed and developed and is the publis
her of the Game. In order to set up a Game account ( Account ), You will be requeste
d to provide certain personal information and financial information to Riot Game
s. You agree that you will supply accurate personal and financial information t
o Riot Games when requested, and that you will update this information if it cha
nges. You will also be requested to establish a user name and password (collect
ively, Login Credentials ). You may not share your Account or your Login Credentia
ls with anyone. Each user must have his or her own Account and Login Credential
s.
II. No Ownership of Property Rights in Account. You agree that you shall have n
o ownership interest or intellectual property rights in the Account. All intell
ectual property rights in and to the Game and everything in the Game (including,
but not limited to objects, artifacts, characters, character names, locations,
location names, stories, story lines, dialog, catch phrases, artwork, structural
or landscape designs, animations, sounds, musical compositions and recordings,
audio-visual effects, character likenesses, and methods of operation) are owned
or licensed by Riot Games. You acknowledge have no interest, monetary or otherw
ise, in any feature of or content in the Game.
III. Account Termination. You agree that Riot Games may stop providing support
for and/or access to the Game at any time for any reason or no reason, and may t
erminate Your account at any time for any reason or no reason.
IV. Changes to Game. You agree that Riot Games may change, modify, suspend, nerf
, discontinue, or restrict Your access to any features or parts of the Game at an
y time without notice or liability to You.
V. Service Interruptions. You acknowledge that the Game is subject to scheduled
and unscheduled service interruptions. Riot Games reserves the right to interru
pt the Service with or without prior notice to You for any reason or no reason.
You agree that Riot Games will not be liable for any interruption of the Service
, delay or failure to perform, and you understand that You will not be entitled
to any refunds of money paid to Riot Games as compensation for any interruptions
of service.
VI. Account and Content Deletion. When using the Service, You may accumulate Ga
me content associated with Your Account, including, but not limited to objects,
artifacts, currency, items, equipment, and/or other value or status indicators t
hat reside on servers operated by Riot Games as data. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY A
ND ALL GAME CONTENT AND/OR ACCOUNTS MAY BE DELETED, ALTERED, MOVED OR TRANSFERRE

D AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON AT THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE DISCRETION OF RIOT GAMES.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, NOTWITHSTANDING ANY VALUE ATTRIBUTED TO SUCH CONTENT OR
OTHER DATA BY RIOT GAMES, BY YOU, OR BY ANY THIRD PARTY, RIOT GAMES DOES NOT PRO
VIDE OR GUARANTEE, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY VALUE, CASH OR OTHERWISE, ATTRIBU
TED TO ANY DATA RESIDING ON SERVERS OPERATED BY RIOT GAMES. YOU UNDERSTAND AND
AGREE THAT RIOT GAMES HAS THE RIGHT, BUT NOT THE OBLIGATION, TO REMOVE ANY CONTE
NT (INCLUDING YOUR CONTENT) IN WHOLE OR IN PART AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR NO
REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE AND WITH NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND TO YOU.
VII. End User License Agreement. You agree that your use of the game software (
the Software ) to play the Game is governed by and you will abide by the End User L
icense Agreement (http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/eula).
VIII. Code of Conduct. Certain rules govern your use of the Game (the Code of Co
nduct ). The Code of Conduct is not meant to be exhaustive, and Riot Games reserv
es the right to take appropriate disciplinary measures including account termina
tion and deletion to protect the integrity and spirit of the Game, regardless of
whether a specific behavior is listed here as prohibited. The following are ex
amples of behavior that warrant disciplinary measures:
A. Impersonating an employee of Riot Games or communicating in any way that make
s it appear that the communication originates from Riot Games.
B. Posting identifying information about any other user in the Game.
C. Harassing, stalking, or threatening any other users in the Game.
D. Transmitting or communicating any content which, in the sole and exclusive di
scretion of Riot Games, is deemed offensive, including, but not limited to, lang
uage that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vul
gar, obscene, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objection
able.
E. Spamming chat, whether for personal or commercial purposes, by disrupting the
flow of conversation with repeated postings of a similar nature.
F. Participating in any action which, in the sole and exclusive judgment of Riot
Games, exploits an undocumented aspect of the Game in order to secure an unfair a
dvantage over other users.
G. Participating in any action which, in the sole and exclusive judgment of Riot
Games, defrauds any other user of the Game, including, but not limited to, by sc
amming or social engineering.

H. Using any unauthorized third party programs, including but not limited to mods
, hacks,
cheats,
scripts, bots,
trainers, and automation programs, that interact w
oftware in any way, for any purpose, including but not limited to any unauthoriz
ed third party programs that intercept, emulate, or redirect any communication b
etween the Software and Riot Games and any unauthorized third party programs tha
t collect information about the Game by reading areas of memory used by the Soft
ware to store information.
I. Accessing or attempting to access areas of the Game or Game servers that have
not been made available to the public.
IX. Character Names. You may not select a character name that is offensive, def
amatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise
objectionable, or falsely indicative of an association with Riot Games. Riot Ga
mes may modify any name which, in the sole and exclusive judgment of Riot Games,
violates this provision without further notification to You, and may take furth

er disciplinary measures, including account termination, for repeated violations

.
X. Sale of Accounts and Virtual Items. The sale of Accounts and virtual items a
nd transfer of these Accounts and virtual items between users may only be conduc
ted via services provided by Riot Games. Riot Games may terminate any account t
hat has been sold from one user to another or that has been involved in the sale
of virtual items, unless such transactions are conducted via services provided
by Riot Games. Any other purported sale or transfer shall be a violation of this
Agreement.
XI. Trademarks. Riot Games does not authorize you to make any use of any Riot G
ames trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, domain names, taglines, and/
or trade dress (collectively, the "Riot Games Marks") under any circumstances wi
thout a written license agreement, except that Riot Games may make a fan kit avail
able to You at http://leagueoflegends.com/media.php that includes a limited lice
nse to use certain Riot Games Marks. Except for the license expressly granted w
ith the fan kit, Riot Games reserves all right, title, and interest in Riot Games
Marks, and does not authorize you to display or use any Riot Games Marks in any
manner, including but not limited to on websites, on blogs, in forums, in signat
ures, on products, or in printed or electronic publications.
XII. Personally Identifiable Information, Privacy Issues. You may be required to
provide Riot Games certain personally identifiable information ("Personal Infor
mation"). Retention and use of Personal Information is subject to the Riot Games
privacy policy (http://www.riotgames.com/legal/privacypolicy). You acknowledge
and agree that your communications with other users or with Riot Games via in-Ga
me communication, chats, conferences, bulletin boards, and any other avenues of
communication are public and not private communications, and You have no expecta
tion of privacy in them. You further agree that Riot Games may monitor any such
communications.
XIII. Termination of Agreement. This Agreement is effective until terminated. Y
ou may terminate the Agreement at any time by removing the Software from Your co
mputer s permanent memory, destroying any copy of the software you may have made p
ursuant to the End User License Agreement, and notifying Riot Games of your inte
ntion to terminate this Agreement. Riot Games may terminate this Agreement at an
y time for any reason or no reason. Upon termination, Your license grant as set
forth in the End User License Agreement shall immediately terminate and you must
immediately remove the Software from your computer s permanent memory and destroy
any copy of the software you may have made pursuant to the End User License Agr
eement and any other copies of the software in your possession.
XIV. Changes to the Agreement. You agree that Riot Games has right to change, m
odify, add to, supplement or delete any of the terms and conditions of this Agre
ement, effective upon notice as follows: Riot Games will post the revised versio
n of this Agreement on the League of Legends website and will also provide You t
he opportunity to accept or reject the modified agreement when launching the Gam
e. If the changes to the Agreement are unacceptable to you or cause you to no l
onger be in compliance with the Agreement, you may terminate the Agreement in ac
cordance with Section XIII.
XV. Warranty and Disclaimer.
A. Warranty Disclaimer. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED TO YOU AS IS AND RIOT GAMES MAKE
S NO WARRANTY, CONDITION OR REPRESENTATION (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER BY STATU
TE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, USAGE OR OTHERWISE) AS TO ANY MATTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT
LIMITATION, NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, INTEGRATION,
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SELECTI
NG THE SOFTWARE TO ACHIEVE YOUR INTENDED RESULTS, AND FOR THE INSTALLATION OF, U

SE OF, AND RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SOFTWARE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING,
RIOT GAMES MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT THE GAME
WILL BE FREE FROM INTERRUPTIONS OR OTHER FAILURES, OR THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL ME
ET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
XVI. Limitation of Liability. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY,
WHETHER IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL RIOT GAME
S BE LIABLE TO YOU OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL,
OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES FOR
GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR WOR
K STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGE OR LOSS. I
N NO EVENT SHALL RIOT GAMES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF ANY AMOUNT YO
U HAVE PAID RIOT GAMES FOR THE GAME AND GAME-RELATED TRANSACTIONS, IF ANY, EVEN
IF RIOT GAMES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
XVII. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Riot Games f
rom and against all claims or lawsuits, including attorney s fees, that arise or r
esult from Your use or misuse of the Game, or violation of any of the provisions
of the Terms of Service Agreement.
XVIII. Entire Agreement. This Agreement (including any amendments You subsequen
tly agree to and the End User License Agreement, which is incorporated herein by
reference) represents the complete agreement between You and Riot Games concern
ing the subject matter of the Agreement, and supersedes any prior agreements and
representations between You and Riot Games.
XIX. Reform and Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be
unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be reformed to the extent nec
essary to make it enforceable to the maximum extent permissible so as to affect
the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in
full force and effect.

under the laws of the state of California without reference to its conflict of
law principles. Each party agrees to submit to the exclusive and personal juris
diction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California. The United Nati

Computer Information Transactions Act shall not apply to this Agreement.
