make any number of defensivefire attacks each phase.
Each Wehrmacht soldier was encouraged to think two grades
of command above himself. Thus, if his immediate commander
was put out of action, he was more than immediately capable
of assuming the mantle and carrying on to complete the mission.

Inspired by early British tankette experiments, the L3/35

first saw combat during the Ualual incident in 1934. Its
light armor and weaponry made it suitable primarily for
reconnaissance missions.

Fortification During
deployment, Fortifications
are placed by each player
in turn before all other units.
Fortifications can be placed
on the battle map in any
hex that isnt adjacent to the
objective. Fortifications dont count against stacking limits.
Pillbox This Obstacle can hold one Soldier. A Soldier in
this Obstacle has cover and gets +1 on cover rolls.

Antipersonnel mines were developed to make mine lifting

hazardous, particularly at night when covering fire was
less effective.

43/45

The assault on pillboxes can be made in several ways,

but all these depend on the principle that if you are near
enough to a pillbox, you can get inside the angle of fire
of its machine guns and be safe.
