Most lawns require at least 1 inch of water per week.

The Lawn Genie LC6 is a single-program electric timer used to control the Lawn Genie sprinkler system on
your lawn. Whether you want to water your lawn every day, every other day, or only a couple times a week,
this control allows you to program how often and when you want the sprinkler system to kick in.

Wiring
To wire the sprinkler control, you'll want to purchase 18-gauge jacketed wire from a local hardware store.
Follow the wiring instructions in the installation manual to connect each valve wire to a terminal on the
timer. Or call a qualified technician to assist you with the installation.

Program Settings
To set the current time, press "CLOCK," then "HRS" and "MIN," then "CLOCK" again. To set watering start
time, press "Start," then "HRS" and "MIN," then "Clock." To set watering run time, press "Zone" to select the
zone you want to water, press "HRS" and "MIN" until the desired run time is displayed, then press "CLOCK."
To set how often to water, press "DAY" and "MIN" repeatedly until the desired frequency is displayed, then
press "CLOCK." 1 = watering every day, 2 = watering every other day, 3 = watering every third day.

Turning Off System

When it rains, you can turn the system off by pressing the "RAIN" button. When you want the timer to
resume, simply press "CLOCK." Make sure to read the instruction manual for additional special programming
functions.
