Rush Limbaugh Echo for Tuesday, 1/6/15

Open: Vote in the House of Representatives, so called.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#1: DbM doesnt understand the lack of Boehner support
Daniel Webster (FL), Ted Yoho, and Louie Gohmert (TX) are running for Speaker of the House also. They
have 15 votes and need 29 to force a second ballot. It goes back to 1923 to find a second ballotits
rare.
The Republican leaderships attitude towards its own base is breath-taking.
Your text, eMail, and phone calls are flooding the zone as you tell them to do their job. Democrats have
turned their radical base literally insane, and still they cater to them. If there was ever a base to
distance from it is the Leftist base.
Well also get to soundbytes relating to the vote taking place this, or next, hour.
>>> Sit tight; your dreams will come true; it will be worth the wait.

Segment#2: Voters want Obama stopped
To many people, the need for the need for new Republican leadership is clear. You can do all the
Google-analytics you want, they want Obama stopped. Voters dont want anything but Obama
stopped. The number of bills passed doesnt mean progress!
If the Republican Party would get Goldwater out of their brains, they would again win a Landslide.
They dont need a NE moderate to win, and will lose again it they dont get it right. The Republican
Party used to have a connection with those that build this country and make it work.
The people that make this country work are trusting in God, not Washington DC. Thats another story
for today. They are sick of being told how to live.
>>> They are sick about being insulted in intelligence.

Seg#3: Cantor didnt stand up against Obama and was defeated
((Clip-Rush-June-17: There isnt a Republican vs. Democrat mindset today. There is only working
against the enemy, the Tea Party. You people that want capitalism to work with free enterprise, you are
their problem.)) It has only intensified.
The MANDATE was to Stop Obama since there was no other message. Democrats lost a lot of seats
and are sitting ducks but no, they are not the enemy, the Tea Party is.
Robert Bennett of Utah (now defeated) said ((Clip-Bennett: Just like Goldwater supporters went too far,
the Tea Party people have slipped into Alice in Limbaugh Land, we will suffer in elections.)) He is
speaking against the natural base.

If you compare the Democrat base to the Republican base and think we are the problem in America, not
the lunatic Left in America, what else must you think? You probably think cops in NYC are the problem,
like de Blazio.
You will never get rid of the Tea Party because they are just average working Americans, not a formal
party. Eric Cantor was in line to be Speaker and went down to defeat in VA. He was on CNBC (no
audience) msNBC, ditto. ((Clip-Cantor: The question is: will the next two years be spent litigating what
has already gone by. Or are we going to get something done?)) Obama wants more destructionis that
getting something done?
What does Cantor want done: Obama Amnesty?
Obamacare fully implemented and paid for?
>>> You can understand why Cantor was defeated.

Segment#4: Owner Jerry Jones flew NJ Chris Christie and family in
Sitting at home last night, minding my own business, I got an eMail about Chris Christie at an NFL game.
He looked out of place and Jerry Jones look nervous. My friend thought it was to distract from Rick
Perry and gain support from Texas Republicans.
Let me explain: only real football people are in the top box with Jerry Jones, just for business. There is a
second box lower for the party people and Jerry Jones doesnt go there. If you are really curious about
this, the question is: Why did Jerry Jones invite Chris Christie in? Turns out Jerry Jones flew him and
his wife and family in.
The NJ governor before Chris Christie, Jim McGreevy, accepted offers.
>>> There may be ethical reason to not accept, but it is all legal.

Seg#11: Forcing a second vote falls one vote short
Media, Nancy Pelosi, and Democrats are all smiles. They are happy w/Boehner.
>>> That tells you a lot.

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Who Failed"
Six years ago, a major news organization asked me to write a 400-word essay on the incoming Obama
Regime. I told them I didnt need 400 words, I could do it in four: I hope he fails. [RushLimbaugh.com: I
Hope Obama Fails - 01.16.2009]
Those words ignited a political explosion. Liberals knee-jerk reaction was to falsely claim Obamas race,
rather than his far-left ideology, guided my thinking. Many on the right were silent, intimidated by the
historic nature of Obamas presidency.
Well now, we have the history. Against the wishes of the American people, under the guise of
reforming health care, Obama took over one-sixth of the U.S. economy. He promised lower costs, and
promised that the already-insured wouldnt be affected. Instead, millions found they couldnt keep their

doctors, or their plans, or their fulltime jobs. The architect of Obamacare admitted, as weve recently
learned, that they relied on the stupidity of the American voter to pass it.
Obamas agenda is marching onward. Our economy hasnt recovered. Millions are chronically
unemployed, or underemployed. Government agencies like the IRS have been used to punish political
opponents. Our foreign policy is in shambles. More recently, against the wishes of the American people,
Obama bypassed Congress to grant executive amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.
In 2010, the American people gave Republicans control of the House of Representatives. In 2014, they
gave Republicans control of the Senate as well. Sadly, Obama has not failed. So far, the Republican
opposition has. The American people want the Obama agenda stopped!

Became Poorer - Tyler Durden]

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"I've got to be honest, the kids today -- 20, 25, 30 -- have got a whole different set of challenges than I
had when I was their age. It's much more complicated and complex, and it's much more pessimistic. The
people young today, I mean, it's Logan's Run: Get rid of anybody over 30."
"I really did take some time away, folks. I literally paid no attention to anything -- well, a couple things,
but I paid no attention to anything until I started cramming yesterday when I got back home."
"Remember all these Millennials out there who think Hillary is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I'll
never understand it. I still don't understand it; I never will. As adept and attuned to the pulse of the
people as I am, I will never understand how Hillary Clinton gets over 10% in any poll. But she does."
"You want to talk about a time when America was in a good mood and was optimistic and was just
beating the band and the country was growing, unemployment was coming down, jobs are being
created? It was the eighties, and primarily it was the last six years of the eighties, but the two terms of
Ronaldus Magnus."
"Everybody heralded Cuomo as this great orator and so forth, but that speech in '84 couldn't have had
any impact. It didn't help Mondale. Mondale went on to lose 49 states six weeks or seven weeks later,
whatever it was."
"All of us would just love, once, for something to stick to Bill Clinton besides a blue dress, and nothing
ever has. Even lying before a grand jury! He's still the biggest star in the Democrat Party, much to
Obama's chagrin."
"I've always said that I love getting older. I have, because I always saw older people as happier than I
was when I was young. It's because they had more freedom. They had more economic power. They
were richer, they were wealthier, they were more successful."
"All my fantasies, they've got hardly any chance of coming true. It finally just hit me. All of my life, when
I was young, my fantasies, every one of 'em, I had a reasonable belief, could come true. And for some
reason I'm driving in today, I said, 'Well, I guess most of them there's no chance now'."

"Only 23% of Republicans think that their kids are going to do better than they did? I mean, that is
striking, and that does not correspond to all the polling data of what a great mood everybody's in out
there."
"Why people voted Republican in the last election. Eighty-one percent said they voted to stop
Obamacare. Eighty-one percent. Seventy-five percent said they voted Republican to stop amnesty for
illegals. Seventy-one percent say they voted Republican to stop all of Obama's agenda. It's exactly what I
thought."
"I kind of like the sideways hug that Chris Christie engaged in there with Jerry Jones. This is like the third
time this season we've seen Christie and Jerry Jones. Let me tell you about Jerry Jones' box, the suite at
AT&T Stadium. Just call it Texas Stadium. That's what everybody thinks of it is."
