Our Sherman
Oaks Campus
In Los Angeles, our OHLA campus is situated
in the affluent neighborhood of Sherman Oaks,
adjacent to Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Hollywood.
The OHLA Sherman Oaks Campus is conveniently
located on the premises of DeVry University within
The Sherman Oaks Galleria. This location offers
a state-of-the-art open lifestyle center that hosts
vibrant businesses. The Galleria is full of dining,
lively shopping and entertainment. In addition,
the location offers a state of the art movie theater
complex and boasts a 24 Hour Fitness center
and an array of fashion and style stores.
Not only is Sherman Oaks a hotbed for
celebrities, but the community is no stranger to
the movie and television industries. Movies and
television shows filmed within its bounds include
Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Buffy the Vampire
Slayer, Escape from New York, Scrubs, Two and
a Half Men, Terminator 2, Transformers, Desperate
Housewives and many more. There are also
many notable events held throughout the year in
Sherman Oaks. The biggest being the Sherman

Brickell
OHLAs main campus in Miami is conveniently
located in Brickell, South Floridas major financial
district. Brickell is a dense, high-rise residential
neighborhood with upscale, luxury condominium and
apartment towers. Referred to, as the Manhattan
of the South, Brickell is home to the largest
concentration of international banks in the United
States and to many popular restaurants, shops and
places of entertainment. Public transportation in
Brickell is convenient as it is served by the Trolley
system, the Miami Metrorail at the Brickell station
and by 5 stations of the Metromovers Brickell Loop.
One block west of the OHLA Brickell campus,
students can find the Mary Brickell Village,
a French style village with an assortment of
restaurants, boutiques, services that create a
gathering area for high-class retail and restaurants,
the village attracts locals and tourists for social
gathering and entertainment.

The OHLA Brickell Campus offers students

In Doral the OHLA campus is conveniently located
in the north-central part of Miami, a suburban mixed
neighborhood of Miami. Because of its close proximity
to the Miami International Airport, the city of Doral

OHLAs English Program is housed inside the premises
Millennia Atlantic University, also known as MAU.
The campus facility is the first high performance green
building structure in Doral, designated with the
guidelines and certification of LEED (Leadership in

Our Intensive program runs Monday to Friday from
9:00 to 12:40 and Monday to Thursday from 13:10 to
14:00 for a total of 24 ESL lessons per week. In the
Intensive program we offer a vast array of
complementary courses that vary throughout the year
depending on the needs of students.

Our Faculty
Each member of our faculty holds a Bachelors
Degree and are all certified to teach ESL. They
have gained ESL qualifications through postsecondary studies or specialized training courses.
Besides looking for individuals with the required
educational background, we seek teachers who
have international experience and, as such, a
number of our faculty has had previous teaching
assignments abroad. The diverse educational
backgrounds of our teachers provide students the
benefit of various teaching styles and experiences.

YOUTH CAMPS (Miami Only)
OHLA offers a number of Youth Camp programs,
which allow students from around the world to
come and experience the beautiful city of Miami.
These full-package programs provide the perfect
blend of language classes, activities and home-stay
or residence accommodation. In addition, weekend
activities such as a trip to Orlando are included
in the programs. It is no wonder that OHLAs
programs have attracted thousands of students

The biggest advantage of our OHLA Residence is the
fact that students live right on campus. The residence
is located in different towers of the Four Ambassadors
Complex conveniently adjacent to Tower 3, in which
OHLA is located. Going to school in the morning is
as easy as leaving the apartment, taking the elevator
to the lobby, and crossing to Tower 3. Students can
enjoy an ocean view not only from their classroom but
also from the comfort of their own apartment. After
class, they can spend the afternoon around the pools
enjoying the sun.
