Skilled - Nominated (subclass 190) visa Eligible Skills List

The Queensland Government provides a limited number of nominations to those skilled migrants who have
an eligible skill and who are assessed as likely to provide a clear benefit to the Queensland economy. DIAC
eligibility is also a condition of Queensland nomination.
Please be advised that applying for nomination correctly does not guarantee success. Nomination is granted
at the discretion of the Queensland Government. Once a decision has been made it is final, and the
Queensland Government does not endorse any appeals to DIAC or the Migration Review Tribunal.
The eligible skills lists are reviewed regularly and updated to reflect current labour market conditions. Some
occupations have limited places, and when these places have been filled, they will be removed from this list.
Applicants must apply for nomination by submitting an EOI through SkillSelect. Applicants selecting
exclusively Queensland will be viewed before candidates selecting "all states". The Queensland Government
will screen suitable eligible candidates who genuinely would prefer to live and work in Queensland before
those selecting all states and territories.
Each occupation on this list has its own:

English language requirements

industry experience.

Applicants must:

have an occupation on the relevant Queensland eligible skills list for that visa category

meet the requirements for the nominated occupation as listed on the relevant eligible skills list for
that visa category

have a positive skills assessment for that occupation from the relevant organisation

be assessed by Skilled and Business Migration as being likely to provide a clear benefit to the
Queensland economy.
