Course Description
This course will introduce the students to the various forms used in Philippine Legal system. Lessons &
materials will be studied in order to improve the students' knowledge on the kinds of documents utilized and
drafted by lawyers in their practice in the Philippines.
Objectives:
By the end of the course, the students shall be able to:
1. Understand, explain and enumerate various forms utilized by lawyers when they practice in the
Philippines;
2. Draft simple legal documents commonly prepared by lawyers;
3. Explain the salient points of the Notarial Law of 2004;

Course Requirements
Minimum requirements for passing this course are substantial course participation; on-time work and
satisfactory attendance. To pass this course, students will need to read assignments, to follow the syllabus
and be prepared to participate in the discussions in class.
During the course, students will be required to submit a written compilation of enumerated legal forms at
the end of the semester.
