*1 The applicable motor capacity indicated is the maximum capacity based upon NEC standards for induction type motors.
*2 The rated output capacity is 220V for the 200V class and 440V for the 400V class.
*3 The percentage given for the overload current indicates the ratio with respect to the inverter's rated current. In case of repeated use, it is
essential to wait until the inverter and the motor has cooled to below the ambient temperature.
*4 The maximum output voltage cannot exceed the power supply voltage, but can be set as desired below the incoming power supply voltage.
*5 Indicate the average torque for decelerating to stop from 60Hz. Changes according to motor loss.
*6 The power supply capacity changes with the values of the power supply side inverter impedances (including those of the input reactor and
cables).

F500 Advanced PID

(1) Pr.501 Motor Switch Select = 0 (Basic mode)
The VFD controlled motor is normally fixed based upon output frequency. By opening or closing the MC between the
input line power and the motor, the number of motors operated via commercial power can be increased or decreased.

(2) Pr.501 Motor Switch Select = 1 (Alternate mode)

While running the operation is the same as basic mode (Pr.501=0).
The VFD controlled motor is normally fixed based upon output frequency, and the number of commercially powered
motors can be changed.
During transition from stopping function to output stop the motor that is VFD controlled can be switched by opening or
closing the MC between VFD and motor.
(Note 1) If the motor start sequence was M1M2M3. The sequence becomes M2M3M1, after
switching the MC. (Total = 3 motors)

(3) Pr.501 Motor Switch Select = 2 (Direct mode)

When inputting STF/STR to motor, the motor starts up by VFD control. If the start-up condition is true for the next
motor, switch MC between VFD and motor, and switch MC between commercial power and the motor. The VFD
controlled motor is switched to commercially powered operation, the next motor starts-up by VFD control.
Consequently, if multiple motors are running and condition for stopping is true, the motor started first (via commercially
powered operation) is stopped first.
(Note) If the VFD is reset, the motor start sequence returns to its initial state (Pr.501=1 or 2).
During running, Pr.500 and Pr.501 cannot be changed.
During stop, if Pr.500 and Pr.501 settings are changed, the motor starting sequence returns to its
initial state.
