INTRODUCTION

We prised to Allah SWT who has given the chances to us completed this task as it one of our
responsibilities.
The ability to write well is not a naturally acquired skill for the second language learner of
English. It is usually learned through frequent practice in formal instructional settings (Galea,
S.R & Kaur, J., 2005). Writing is indeed a complex process as it involves composing, which
requires the ability to piece together information in an acceptable form, which can be understood.
Learners not only need to have the ability to write down simple sentences but also to compose by
transforming ideas into coherent piece.
The title of our KKP is Oral Presantation and Written Essay. Individually, we are required to
deliver an oral presentation on the process of selecting topics,resourcing for materials and the
outline of ideas. We have to read and understand them well. Then we have to write an essay on
the choosen topic.
Thank you for our lecturer Mdm. Norlidar binti Abdul Hamid for giving us the way to renew
our KKP and moral support to our group. Not forget to all our friend that help our group to
complete this KKP.

EXPOSITORY ESSAY
The expository essay is a genre of essay that requires the student to investigate an idea, evaluate
evidence, expound on the idea, and set forth an argument concerning that idea in a clear and

concise manner. This can be accomplished through comparison and contrast, definition, example,
the analysis of cause and effect, etc.This genre is commonly assigned as a tool for classroom
evaluation and is often found in various exam formats.
The structure of the expository essay is held together by the following:
A clear, concise, and defined thesis statement that occurs in the first paragraph of the essay.
It is essential that this thesis statement be appropriately narrowed to follow the guidelines set
forth in the assignment. If the student does not master this portion of the essay, it will be quite
difficult to compose an effective or persuasive essay.
Clear and logical transitions between the introduction, body, and conclusion.
Transitions are the mortar that holds the foundation of the essay together. Without logical
progression of thought, the reader is unable to follow the essays argument, and the structure will
collapse.
Body paragraphs that include evidential support.
Each paragraph should be limited to the exposition of one general idea. This will allow for clarity
and direction throughout the essay. What is more, such conciseness creates an ease of readability
for ones audience. It is important to note that each paragraph in the body of the essay must have
some logical connection to the thesis statement in the opening paragraph.
Evidential support (whether factual, logical, statistical, or anecdotal).
Often times, students are required to write expository essays with little or no preparation;
therefore, such essays do not typically allow for a great deal of statistical or factual evidence.
A bit of creativity!
Though creativity and artfulness are not always associated with essay writing, it is an art form
nonetheless. Try not to get stuck on the formulaic nature of expository writing at the expense of
writing something interesting. Remember, though you may not be crafting the next great novel,
you are attempting to leave a lasting impression on the people evaluating your essay.
A conclusion that does not simply restate the thesis, but readdresses it in light of the evidence
provided.
It is at this point of the essay that students will inevitably begin to struggle. This is the portion of
the essay that will leave the most immediate impression on the mind of the reader. Therefore, it

must be effective and logical. Do not introduce any new information into the conclusion; rather,
synthesize and come to a conclusion concerning the information presented in the body of the
essay.
A Complete Argument
Perhaps it is helpful to think of an essay in terms of a conversation or debate with a classmate. If
I were to discuss the cause of the Great Depression and its current effect on those who lived
through the tumultuous time, there would be a beginning, middle, and end to the conversation. In
fact, if I were to end the exposition in the middle of my second point, questions would arise
concerning the current effects on those who lived through the Depression. Therefore, the
expository essay must be complete, and logically so, leaving no doubt as to its intent or
argument.
The Five-Paragraph Essay
A common method for writing an expository essay is the five-paragraph approach. This is,
however, by no means the only formula for writing such essays. If it sounds straightforward, that
is because it is; in fact, the method consists of:
1. an introductory paragraph
2. three evidentiary body paragraphs
3. a conclusion

HEALTH MANAGEMENT

Good health is not only about not being ill, it is about being happy and feeling whole
from a physical, mental and spiritual point of view.Being healthy is not anymore just about
taking medicines when unwell, it means taking care of ourselves to prevent any illnesses and to
change our attitude when we need to heal or get better after the illness. Taking care of our health
today means doing a lot of things to feel good, from eating the right way to taking vitamins, from
exercising to having a job we enjoy. There are many ideas, and opinions, on what constitutes
good health.Here are some tips on how to maintain good health.

First of all, we know that to be in healthy condition, someone has to eat healthy food. So,
to get a good health we must control our eating behavior by eating nutritious food or balanced
meals In order to keep our body fit, we need some tips in case standing the healthy of our body.
First step, remember that we have to consume enough meal which able to provide the body needs
such as vitamins, minerals, calcium, carbohydrates, protein, fat, fiber, and the other important
particular nutrient. Without enough nutrients, its impossible for body to keep it wells because
the nutrients are the matter to make the body proofs from the illness. Other than that is to avoid
alcoholic beverages and tobacco because Alcohol and tobacco use increase the risk for many of
the diseases effecting people around the world today. Smoking harms nearly every organ in the
body and alcohol can increase the chances of injury, accident, assault and damage to our
health.Drinking lot of water everyday also can keep our health at top of its point. Water is one of
the best tools for weight loss, first of all because it often replaces high-calorie drinks like soda
and juice and alcohol with a drink that doesn't have any calories. But it's also a great appetite
suppressant, and often when we think we're hungry, we're actually just thirsty. Water has no fat,
no calories, no carbs, no sugar. Drink plenty to help our weight-loss regimen.

Regular physical activity is a critical part of staying healthy. People who are active live
longer and feel better.It is one of the most important things you can do for your health. It can
help you maintain a healthy weight. It can delay or prevent diabetes, some cancers and heart
problems. It is recommended to exercise regularly, Most adults need at least 30 minutes of
moderate physical activity at least five days per week. Examples include walking briskly,
mowing the lawn, dancing, swimming for recreation or bicycling. Stretching and weight training
can also strengthen your body and improve your fitness level. Other than that, we also can
choose our favourite sport to participate in case if we dont like to be in gymnasium or tracking
court.For instance, we can participate in football,volleyball,sepak takraw and Hockey. The point
is for us to sweat to reduce the toxin in our body.Besides that, we are encouraged to get advices
from fitness trainer because they are specialist that we can get advice and tips to get a
healthy.Furthermore, they also can help us maintaining our health.

Many of us didnt know that rest is a way of getting good health.So the third point is to
get enough rest.Mentioning about rest we all can guest that the simple rest we can do is to
sleep.Sleep ideal advocated by the medical which is about 6 to 7 hour at night. In fact, when
people get less than 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night, their risk for developing diseases begins to
increase.Next, sleep early at night around 12 p.m. because when we slept late we will get tired on
the next morning and our immune system will also get weak due to lack of sleeping at
night.lastly, we are recommended to get enough rest after doing heavy activities because If we do
not allow our body to have sufficient rest, we might run the risk of burning too many calories.

This will burn fat and slow, and maybe even reverse, the muscle building process. So the point
here is if we want to get a good health,get enough rest for our body and mind.

Achieving and maintaining health is an ongoing process, shaped by both the evolution
of health care knowledge and practices, as well as personal strategies and organized interventions
for staying healthy.To be in a good shape and health everyone has to control their eating habits,
doing regular physical activities at least once a week and lastly to get enough rest.If we follow
the guidelines above, we will definitely achieve success in our health.
