Consumerism acts as a religion because it enshrines a system of beliefs and practices to deal with life. Unlike other world religions founded upon compassion, goodwill and love, Consumerism is founded upon exploitation, oppression and greed. LINDEN SHERMAN you can forgive the soul but you can't forgive the rent so it's harder to control the money you have spent.
