Introduction to the MRT Hardware & Software Compatibility List

The Hardware & Software Compatibility List is a listing of third party hardware devices
that MRT has evaluated in its compatibility lab. Each hardware device and software
product that we evaluate is run through extensive tests to determine its compatibility
with our products.
The MRT Hardware Compatibility List provides a list of computer hardware environments
that are fully compatible with MRT software and hardware. Hardware devices in this list
are fully compatible with MRT and run its best features. The MRT Software Compatibility
List provides the computer software environment that is fully compatible with MRT
software and hardware. Software in this list can coexist with MRT without conflict.
We have also included a Software & Hardware Incompatibility list which provides the
software and hardware environment in which MRT cannot function normally. Users
should avoid installing or using MRT in the incompatible software or hardware
environment.
Because MRT Lab is devoted to improving MRT tools and making MRT compatible with as
many software and hardware environments as possible, the list is constantly upgraded.
Before purchasing and using MRT, users should read the Hardware & Software
Compatibility List to ensure MRT can function normally in your current computer
environment.

To ensure the speed of mirroring, we recommend dual-core or quad-core CPU
Support Intel series CPU (AMD series CPU is not recommended)
Recommended RAM: 1GB or above
Motherboard can use PCIE x1 / x2 / x4 / x8 / x16 slot

Software Compatibility Lists (SCL)

MRT supports following operating systems:
Windows XP (32 bit)
Windows 2003 (32 bit)
Windows Vista (32 bit)
Windows 7 (32 bit)
MRT does not support Windows 64 bit operation systems for now.
MRT Software & Hardware Incompatibility List
Notice: Please don't install MRT in incompatible environment!
MRT is incompatible with following software:
360 Security Guard
360 Antivirus
Kingsoft Security Guard
Kingsoft Antivirus
Rising Antivirus
Norton Antivirus
Kaspersky
The above software will remove MRT by mistake. Please do not install MRT in computer
with above software unless you know exactly how to add MRT to the white list of above
software.

In addition, MRT software can be installed in standard HDDs, SSD or the

partition USB flash disk belongs to. Please do not install MRT in partition
which RAID belongs to.
MRT is incompatible with following motherboards:
DELL server families motherboards, such as DELL SC430 server motherboard (There will
be blue screen caused by bus conflict)
GIGABYTE P55A UD3R (Compatibility problem)
ASUS P7P55D (Compatibility problem)
ASUS Z8NA-D6(C) (Intel 5520/5500/X58 - ICH10R) (Compatibility problem)
It has been confirmed that MRT card is incompatible with some GIGABYTE
motherboards. So GIGABYTE motherboards are not recommended.
It has been confirmed that MRT is incompatible with Intel Xeon processor. So Intel Xeon
series CPU is not recommended.
