PROCESS PAPER

Our group decided to choose The Napoleonic Code: The Legacy of

Napoleon Bonapartes Remarkable Leadership as our topic because we were
interested in Napoleons way of leading. Our members had some background
knowledge on him as well. After doing some more research, we realized that
Napoleon was a unique and superior commander. He was a leader that knew what
he was doing and could carry out his plans independently. His legacy helped
centralize the French government.

To start off with, our group spilt the work into sections and each person
researched and gathered information about that topic. We conducted our research
by searching up key terms associated with each section of our project. We focused
specifically on Napoleons leadership and skills. After collecting our information we
met together to put all of our details together. Our main sections were background
info (childhood, education, and rise to power), skills, achievements, and impact. In
addition, we searched many different kinds of sources like videos, articles,
documents, etc.

We created our website by listing topics for each tab and sub tab, so
that way the reader knew about him. We started off with the basic information
about Napoleon by talking about his background information and splitting it by
including about his childhood, rise to power and his education as sub tabs. Then we
wanted to show importance of his military accomplishment and showed his
leadership skills. A superior military leader like Napoleon had good strategies and
tactics used in battles, like minimum amount of force against non-skilled subjects.
Because he used different strategies and tactics he won great battles like the French
Revolution.

The project fits the theme because on our website we have brief
information on each topic and sub topics, like for each tab there are sub tabs and
they explain it clearly. In addition, the pictures also explain the texts in the tabs and
relate to the topic about Napoleon in its own way. It wasn't easy to figure out what
the topics will be to match the information about Napoleon Bonaparte because we
had to think on what was essential for the theme. Also the quotes included in the
website represent symbolism for each tab and are by Napoleon himself. The home
page starts off the website with the overview of the entire website and the

conclusion tab summarizes the website including the tabs, and the sub tabs
information.
