NIRD&PR is a premier Institute providing training, research and consultancy activities
in the field of rural development.

The Institute proposes to engage services of

dynamic and experienced persons on contract basis for the following short term
assignments:
I. SECURITY SUPERVISOR ( 1 No.)
1. Consolidated Remuneration

: Rs.25,000/- pm.

NB.- In addition, he will be provided OPD facility only at NIRD Health Centre. An
amount of Rs. 1000/- p.m. will be reimbursed proportionately towards fuel
charges for the actual use of his own conveyance for patrolling the campus.
2. Qualifications and Experience :
i) Graduation
ii) Age : Below 45 years (Relaxation in the upper age limit can be considered for
the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen categories, as per
norms, subject to production of required certificate)
iii) Five years work experience in a supervisory position in vigilance, security,
firefighting and investigation in matters of sabotages, pilferage, theft etc., with
ability to maintain strict discipline.
iv) Preference will be given for work experience in Police/ Para Military/ Armed
Forces with knowledge of local languages i.e. Telugu/ Hindi/ Urdu.

Job Description He will be overall in-charge for the security arrangement for
NIRD&PR Campus and also supervise deployment of watch & ward staff for this
purpose. He will also co-ordinate with other functionaries for making appropriate
arrangement during the visit of VIPs to the campus and to liaison local police
stations for security arrangement as per requirement. Any other related
assignments as per instructions given by authorities from time to time.

Term of engagement :
i)
On contract, initially for a period of 6 months, extendable as per
requirements of Institute based on his performance.
ii)
The offered assignment is purely temporary and does not envisage
any kind of regular appointment in NIRD&PR in future.

iii)

He will be mandatorily required to stay in the NIRD&PR Campus and

suitable rent-free accommodation (unfurnished) will be provided.

II. PHYSIOTHERAPIST (1 No.) :

1. Consolidated Remuneration : Rs. 22,000/- p.m.
2. Qualifications and Experience :
i) Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognised Institute/ University.
ii) Age : Below 32 years ( Relaxation in the upper age limit can be considered for the
candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen categories, as per norms).
iii) Two years experience as Physiotherapist in a hospital in Public/ Private Sector
3. Job Description :

To attend the patients at NIRD&PR Health Centre on all

working days as per instructions of Lady Medical Officer. He will have to attend any
other related duties assigned to him from time to time.
4. Term of engagement :
i) On contract, initially for a period of six months, extendable as per requirements
of the Institute based on his performance.
ii) The offered assignment is purely temporary and does not envisage any
of regular appointment in NIRD&PR in future.
