Introduction
Avitek Webcenter Portal Demo showcases Webcenter capabilities with respect to Self Service,
Collaboration and Integration capabilities. The Demo covers a public portal for non authenticated user
experience and also authenticated user experience based on user roles defined in the portal. The portal
showcases various color schemes (Webcenter Templates) to distinguish between different user roles

Important Pre-requisites
1. Install Flash Player
2. Preferred Browser Latest Mozilla Firefox ( version >= 25 ) and Google Chrome Browser
3. Edit Client Machine hosts file and add the following Entry where X.X.X.X is the Ip of Webcenter

Partner Portal - Gina as Gold Partner


Gina represents partner in Avitek World, once she logs in she can see Partners Link Enabled in the Public
Portal Navigation or from login Screen she is directly redirected to her Partner Portal.

Ginas Home page


Gina is Gold Partner once she logs in she gets Targeted Content specific to her region and area of
specialization. She has special access to raise Service Request. View and Download various Partner
documents.

Ginas Targeted Content page


Gina belongs to North America region and she is into Healthcare specialization she sees image linking to
her area of interest in her region.

Based on Ginas User Profile information North Healthcare America Analytics Solutions image is shown

Ginas Service Request page


Gina clicks on Product SR Process under create service request tab and she creates a Service Request
that will be reviewed by Avitek Partner Manager (Steve)

Ginas Payment page


She gets a complete dashboard of the Payments that they need to make, a message board, Products
owned by them and the corresponding company details. She can also Open documents related to a
Payment.

Ginas Connections and Polls


She can also view a poll result internal to her company and add connections from with her company or
with their business partners; she can also collaborate with them

Participate in Discussion and Events


Gina Participates in Corporate Discussions and also corporate events, adds people to discussion thread
and collaborates.

Knowledge Base
Gina creates knowledge base around customer support and shares with her colleagues for their
feedback

Partner Portal - Tina as Silver Partner


Tina is Silver Partner. She has limited access to the Portal for example she cannot raise service request
or view payments related dashboard. She can view targeted content as she is from France region and is
interested in Cloud Computing.

Targeted Content
Tina is from France and has interest in Cloud Computing based on her user profile targeted content is
show to her in the Silver Partner page.

She can click on cloud image link to see more details about cloud solutions.

Steve is In charge of partner management. He will review and approve Service requests and access to

Known Issues & Solutions


Images / Icons not displayed.
Sometimes it might happen that icons might be missing in the portal or logo might not apprear.
Solution 1 : This happens when UCM session times out , Open UCM http://hostname/cs login as
weblogic and welcome1, this will keep the UCM session active and the images will be back.
Solution 2 : Check if the host name is added in as mentioned in the Pre-requisite section of this
document

BI Reports not showing.


BI Reports are only available for non-logged in user or weblogic for other users BI is not configured.

BPM Processes Not Opening the Form


If the Host name is not configured properly in the EM , The BPM form new window opens a blank page
or you get a page not found message, Ensure that the Hostname matches the one defined in EM, We are
using Travel Request and Open World Registration process in this demo.
Solution: Login to EM, http://hostname/em , Explore Farm_ofm_domain, Open SOA, then soa-infra,
then default, Open the following Process Product SR Process Under Component Matrix check for
Component Type as Human Workflow Tasks

Click on the Name to the left of Human workflow example SR_Form or View Service Requests.
Go to Administration Tab, Check the Host Name , it should be same as the Hostname used for Demo
