Oracle E -Business Suite (EBS) Essentials Implementation boot camp helps implementers to leverage key features of
Oracle EBS to create an information-driven enterprise that synchronizes data centrally from all systemsincluding
third-party systems.
The Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Essentials Implementation Boot Camp offers a comprehensive coverage of the Oracle
applications to help you learn about how you can automate and streamline business processes to improve visibility,
enforce control and increase operational efficiency within an organization.
What will we cover:
The goal of this boot camp is to educate and make Oracle Partners aware of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 through this
Essentials training program. By attending this 3-day boot camp, you will gain valuable insight into the basics, features
and functions of Oracle E-Business Suite.
This implementation boot camp is structured to help you understand the various implementation considerations of Oracle
E-Business Suite.
Learn To:

Enter data, retrieve information in the form of a query, access online Help
Access and navigate within Oracle Applications using the user interface
Identify the benefits of R12 Applications footprint
Understand of major architectural components
Understand shared entities, key business flows, and integration points between products in R12 E-Business Suite
Describe and define the concepts of System Administration
Describe and define fundamentals of Flexfields
Describe and define fundamentals of Multi-Org
Describe and define fundamentals of Workflow and Alerts
Understand at a high-level overview of Daily Business Intelligence and Fusion Intelligence for Oracle Applications
Duration:

The boot camp is available in 3-day in-class format.


Note: The duration is intended for general reference. The boot camp instructor may recommend a different approach in
rolling the class. Students are required to check the boot camp duration for the scheduled event they are interested in.
Audience:
Functional Implementer
Prerequisite Training and Environment Requirements:
Participation in this boot camp requires the participant has solid foundational product knowledge, especially the new
functional capabilities in the Oracle E-Business Suite R12. To achieve this we are requiring all participants:
Have reviewed the prerequisite courses and successfully passed the prerequisite assessment tests that are mapped into

the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Essentials Implementation Boot Camp guided learning path.
Participants are requested to bring a laptop with the following specifications:
Wi-Fi connection
RAM: 1 GB
Free Disk Space: 1 GB
Internet Explorer 6.0 or Higher Version.
All attendees must bring their own laptops with wireless cards to access E-Business Suite instance via on-line browser
session and must meet the above computer specifications.
In rare situations, individual boot camp session may also provide in class desktop machines. Individual boot camp
confirmation emails will inform participants if Oracle or other company will be providing desktop machines to support
the class.
Agenda Topics:
Throughout this three-day boot camp, you will benefit from demonstrations, hands-on exercise, and case-study to
reinforce and apply the concepts learnt. The agenda is however subject to change.
