Some specific software functions for AXONE 4 can be started using the
multifunction key.

2 MULTIFUNCTION KEY
The key's function changes according to how it is pressed:

2.1 Navigating between Screens


Press the multifunction key repeatedly (single click) until you reach the
desired screen.

Pressing the multifunction key (single click) when in the DESKTOP screen
causes the shutdown menu to appear.

2.2 Shutdown Menu


View the software DESKTOP screen.

Press the multifunction key (single click).

Select the desired option on the touchscreen.

Touch the touchscreen and drag the screen upward to display the area hidden
from the keyboard.

2.4 Control Panel


Hold down the multifunction key (long click) until the Control Panel appears.
The Control Panel provides the following informations:

AXONE4 serial number.


The charge status of the single batteries.
The WiFi connection Status.

Select the desired function on the touchscreen.

Touchscreen calibration can be started from this screen.

Hold down the multifunction key (long click) until the touchscreen calibration
screen appears.

For more information see the TOUCHSCREEN CALIBRATION chapter.


Dialup and WiFi connection modes through Smartphone require
the use of telephone connections.
These connections may be extremely expensive if you are not
provided with a flat data contract associated with the SIM card of
the internal modem or smartphone.
ALWAYS check the tariff plan in case of use of Dialup or WiFi
connections through Smartphone.

3 BATTERY STATUS
You can check the battery status from the Control Panel (see above) or directly
from the DESKTOP.
View the software DESKTOP screen.
Click on

on the touchscreen.

The total battery charge status is displayed.

Start the Control panel to know the status of the single batteries.

4 TOUCHSCREEN
All the software functions can be selected and started using the touchscreen.

4.1 Browse the screens


It is possible to scroll the software screens by pressing a free spot on the screen
(that is without icons) and dragging it to the right or to the left.
Alternatively, you may browse the screens by pressing the icons
or

placed on the sides of the screen.
The pages number and the current position are indicated by the colored dots in
the upper right part of the screen.

4.2 Touchscreen Calibration


View the software DESKTOP screen.

Follow the instructions on the screen.


NOTE:
Touchscreen calibration can also be started from the Control Panel (see
above).

To calibrate the touchscreen correctly you must press the red dot
inside the target as precisely as possible and hold the stylus pen
in place until the target moves.

5 TURNING ON - STANDBY - TURNING OFF


5.1 Power ons
Proceed as follows:

Hold down the POWER button until the green LED lights up.
Wait for the software to start up and the DESKTOP screen to appear.

5.2 Standby
The AXONE 4 turns off automatically when not in use and not
communicating with peripheral devices.

To turn the screen on again touch the touchscreen.

After the screen has been turned off, if not used for a prolonged period of
time, the display unit will automatically place itself in standby.

To reactivate the display unit press the multifunction key (single click).

The display unit can be placed in standby manually.


Proceed as follows:

Select the desired option on the touchscreen.

To take the display unit out of standby mode press the multifunction key (single
click).

methods could damage the unit.
