MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 055-2014

AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 132-2011,
OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION SCHEME OF LOT NO. 11734 FOR THE LGUS
LOW COST HOUSING PROGRAM FOR ITS EMPLOYEES, THEREBY CONVERTING THE
LOTS AND/OR BLOCKS DESIGNATED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES INTO RESIDENTIAL
USES.

WHEREAS,
it is the policy of this local government to take good care of and promote
the social well-being of its workforce by providing them with decent housing program at a minimal
and more affordable cost and scheme;

WHEREAS,
towards this end, this local government had previously approved a
legislative act, through Municipal Resolution No. 132-2011, approving the subdivision scheme of
Lot No. 11734, owned by the Local Government of Guinobatan, intended for its Low Cost Housing
Program;
WHEREAS,
included in the said subdivision scheme are lots and/or blocks designated
for commercial purposes, more particularly the following:

WHEREAS,
in furtherance of this local governments policy of promoting the social
well-being of its employees through the expansion of the coverage of said housing program, it had
been initiated, and this representation aptly supports such intention, to convert said lots and/or
blocks intended/designated for commercial purposes to residential purposes/uses, thereby further
expanding the benefits that can be derived therefrom;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in
session assembled, to amend as it hereby amends certain provisions of Municipal Resolution No.
132-2011, otherwise known as the Subdivision Scheme of Lot No. 11734 for the LGUs Low Cost
Housing Program for its employees, thereby converting the lots and/or blocks designated for
commercial purposes into residential uses.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that pertinent provisions of Municipal Resolution No. 132-2011,
and such other legislative acts previously enacted by this august body, insofar as they are
inconsistent with the provisions of this Municipal Resolution, are hereby modified and/or amended
accordingly.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Guinobatan
Shelter Secretariat (GSS) and the Municipal Mayor, and such other concerned offices/agencies, for
their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of the Sponsoring Committee Chairman,
Honorable Councilor Ryan B. Palomillo, and duly seconded by the members present this 21 st day
of April, 2014 during their 13th Regular Session.
