MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 079-2014

REQUESTING FROM THE HONORABLE CARMELITA DILANTAR, DIRECTOR IV, BUDGET
MANAGEMENT BUREAU, DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT, TO ALLOCATE
FUNDS FOR ROAD CONCRETING OF THE MASARAWAG-SITIO MABATANO-INASCAN
FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD, IN THE AMOUNT OF PHP15,000,000.00, FROM THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FUND (LGSF).

WHEREAS,
this august body, pursuant to the mandate of the Local Government Code
of 1991, for the provision of basic services and facilities for the benefit of our constituents such as
that of providing infrastructure facilities, particularly that of road concreting of farm-to-market roads,
the Masarawag-Sitio Mabatano-Inascan farm-to-market road have been identified as an
indispensable alternate route in the Mayon Unit;
WHEREAS,
this route, when realized and/or concreted, would allow farmers in the
covered barangays/sitio to transport their goods/products to their respective markets and/or
distribution centers without so much hassle and delay;
WHEREAS,
such roads are vital as they would pave the way for economic growth as
the same will expand opportunities for countryside development and boost the agricultural industry
of the two neighboring localities;
WHEREAS,
inasmuch as the Local Government of Guinobatan is willing to build this
indispensable road, financial resources render the same incapacitated, thus resort to other
sources, such as that coming from the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF), becomes
necessary and appropriate, having in mind the promotion of the general welfare of their
constituencies;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in

session assembled, to request as it hereby requests from the Honorable Carmelita Dilantar,
Director IV, Budget Management Bureau, Department of Budget and Management, to allocate
funds for road concreting of the Masarawag-Sitio Mabatano-Inascan Farm-to-Market Road in the
amount of PhP15,000,000.00, from the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF).
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Honorable
Carmelita Dilantar, Director IV, Budget Management Bureau, Department of Budget and
Management with office address at Solano Street, Metro Manila, and such other concerned
offices/agencies, for their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of Honorable Councilor Robert M. Baaga, and
duly seconded by the members present this 23 rd day of June, 2014 during their 22 nd Regular
Session.
