Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions,
and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the
power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a
sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At
the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the
teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will
have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in
the newsletter.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron,
and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love
is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great
you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

I will be holy, because God is holy. Leviticus 11:44

I will strive to be perfect because my heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 5:48
I will do the will of my Father in Heaven. Matthew 7:21

God will not let you get away with sin.

Leviticus 11:44, I am the Lord your God and you must keep
yourselves holy, because I am holy.

Our God is a holy God. He is perfect which means He has no sin or

darkness in Him. He is not a mix of good and bad. He is totally holy,
and He wants us to act like Hm. Even though He loves us and gives us
peace and blesses us, there is another side to God that we must realize.
Our God is a God of justice. His ways are fair for everyone. This does
not mean that there is a good side and a bad side to God, but in Gods
good-ness He is also just and fair. He goes by the rules that He made up
and He wants us to stick to those rules too. When we dont live our lives
by His rules, it is called sin; and sin has consequences. Some Christians
believe that because God is loving, kind, and merciful, they can get
away with sin. They think they can ask forgiveness and everything
will be ok. But even while God forgives us when we repent, there are
consequences from our God of justice. The goal of every believer
should be to stand at the Great White Throne of Judgment hear our
Most High God say, Well done, thou good and faithful servant! Enter
into the joy of the Lord!
