Web Sites for Free Artlantis Objects and Shaders Downloads

The following sites contain Objects and Shaders that can be downloaded in file
extensions recognized by Artlantis - .aof, .gsm, .3ds, .obj, and .skp.
Some sites require registration, others are open, one requires a membership fee and one
sells only plant collections. Some sites also contain helpful tutorials relative to
improving renderings.
Newer sites are added at the top of list.

1. www.designconnected.com (Registration) contains manufacturer 3D objects,
textures and materials. Downloads are compatible with a wide range of modelers,
renderers and file formats. Site has many items for sale; however, a large number
are free downloads. Interesting site.
2. www.BIMobject.com (Registration) contains manufacturer 3D objects, textures
and materials. This is a relatively new site focused on name brand products. The
site started in Europe and is expanding to U.S. manufacturers. Downloads are
free and offers objects for major BIM software (ArchiCAD, Navisworks, Revit,
etc.) and major stand-alone Rendering software.

3. www.cgtextures.com (Registration) contains quality textures presented in an

organized manner within numerous easily searchable categories. All downloads
are free.
Use the Tutorial tab on the main page to access various tutorials that you
may fine very useful.
4. www.vyonyx.com/cutouts (Registration) contains trees, people and textures. All
downloads are free.
Use the Tutorial tab on the main page to access various how to tutorials.
The majority of the tutorials are Photoshop oriented.

5. www.yepsketch.com (Registration) contains 3D objects of architectural hardware

and modern appliances as well as numerous textures and materials. Navigation is
easy and allows for search and selection by manufacturer. All downloads are free.
6. www.archibaseplanet.com/textures (Open) contains 3D objects and textures. Site
is busy-looking with excessive ads. Easy navigation uses categories and
thumbnails for selection. Many of the 3D objects are only downloadable as .gsm
or .3ds file extensions. All downloads are free.
7. www.rendertextures.com (Open) contains a large number and wide variety of
textures including brick, building, fabric, nature, rock, water and word. Easy
navigation uses categories and thumbnails for selection. All downloads are free.
8. www.illoft.com (Open) contains modern contemporary furniture. Search by the
collection tab, select an object and then download. All downloads are free.
9. www.artlantis3d.com (Registration) contains a wide variety of objects and
shaders. This site has changed their downloading process to rely on Box for this
function. The downloaded file is zipped as a .rar. The password is
artlantis3d.com to unzip it using a program like 7-zip File manager.
10. www.artlantisobjects.com (Registration) contains a wide variety of objects.
Search using the free products tab.
11. www.polantis.com (Registration) contains objects in a wide variety of file
extensions and shaders (usually .png extension).
12. www.archiradar.it (Registration) contains objects and shaders for both Artlantis
and ArchiCAD. Some free, some for a fee.
13. www.artlantismembers.com (Membership fee) contains objects and tutorials (You
Tube videos free - no membership fee).
14. www.xfrog.com (Sell) contains plant collections. The site also has free
downloads of selected trees, plants, flowers, etc.
