a. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the official name for the
Mormon religion
i. The Prophet Joseph Smith restored the original doctrines to Earth
b. Believe that Jesus Christ is the savior and is the center of the Mormon religion
i. Work to restore the Church to how it is stated in the New Testament
ii. God sent Jesus Christ to save humans from their sins

2. If one embraces and accepts God in their life, they can become

b. Because Jesus Christ died on the cross for us, all who believe in him will not
perish

ii. Frequently use the phrase Christ alone!

a. The way religions are taught to a person affects how the view the Son of God and
the history surrounding the religions affect their past and future formations
