BLOCK III INCIDENT LOG (Provide a detailed account of any significant incidents)
1
At 01:58 an officer requested assistance in regards to a subject threatening the officer. A arrived at 01:59
to find the subject running on foot at Unity Station. I ordered him to stop and kept the subject at gunpoint
until other officers arrived I provided cover with my sidearm while other officers attempted to detain the
subject. He took off again on foot at 02:01 at which point another on scene officer opened fire, striking and
killing the subject. End of incident 02:01.
At 02:09 an officer reported that he had visual of a wanted suspect along with two civilians in El Corona. He
stopped approximately 100 meters from the group and requested backup. I arrived on the opposite side of
the group at 02:10 and took up a covering position the initial officer believed that the suspect and one of
the civilians were robbing the third civilian of their bike. At 02:11 the suspect and his partner took off on
foot into a nearby alley I routed around and attempted to intercept, when I did so they opened fire. I took
cover behind my patrol vehicle and returned fire. Additional responding units forced the subjects to flee into
the area surrounding Unity Station. One subject was taken into custody at 02:14 after having been hit
multiple times while one additional unit and I gave chase to the remaining subject who at that point had
taken a vehicle from the Unity Station parking lot. The subject took off through Commerce and on into
Verona Beach before continuing through Flint County and into Downtown San Fierro then on into Juniper
Hollow. At this point the subject headed north on the Gant Bridge towards Tierra Robada. I executed a PIT
maneuver at 02:17, spinning the suspect around against the guardrail of the bridge. He jumped out of his
car and climbed over the railing, shouting for me to stay back. I held him at gunpoint, urging him to relax
as he threatened to jump until an additional cover unit arrived. Both of us urged the subject to reconsider
until, possibly due to having looked down, the subject passed out against the guardrail at 02:21. We
recovered the incapacitated subject from the ledge, patted him down finding a firearm, secured him in
handcuffs, and finally put him in the back of the assisting units patrol car to be taken to jail. End of
incident 02:27.
