National Education Blue Print 2013 2025 (PIPP)

5 aspirations : i) knowledge literate and numerate and skills in arts, music and
sports; ii) how to acquire knowledge throughout their lives (lifelong learning),
connect different pieces of knowledge and create new knowledge, cognitive skills
critical thinking, reasoning, creative thinking and innovation; iii)leadership skills
lead and work effectively work in teams and take leadership roles 4 dimensions,
entrepreneurship, resilience, emotional intelligence and strong communication
skills; iv) bilingual proficiency at minimum proficient in BM and English
(international language) work; iv) ethics and spirituality prepare for adult life to
face challenges resolve critical moments, courage to do what is right, nurture
caring individuals betterment of community; v) national identity Rukun Negara
sense of national identity, inclusiveness, patriotism understand countrys history.

11 shifts to transform the system:


1. Provide equal access to quality education of an international standard
Student able to know, understand, reason, to extrapolate and
creatively apply knowledge in novel and unfamiliar settings, HOTS, soft
skills, education enable for social mobility, support to succeed at
school revised the KBSR to KSSR (Primary School Standard
Curriculum) BSM KSSM (Secondary School Standard Curriculum)- a
balanced set of knowledge and skills creative thinking, innovation,
problem-solving and leadership, student-centered and differentiated
teaching, problem based and project based work, formative
assessment
2. Ensure every child is proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English language and
is encouraged to learn other language
