A. Course Description
This introductory course in oral communication is designed to provide
fluency practice in a variety of functions of English speech.
B. General Objectives
During the development of the course, students will be able to identify the
format of speeches and present orally an informational, persuasive and
convincing speech.
C. Specific Objectives
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
1- Present an informational speech
2- Present a persuasive speech
3- Present a convincing ethos
4- Cope with communication apprehension
5- Listen critically & Think critically
