Uptown Canteen Arrangements
The school canteen will be operating the second week of school. A menu and sample price list is
listed below. Please note carefully the arrangements as set out

Primary Students (PreK- Grade 5)

Snack and lunch orders should to be completed and placed in a paper bag (with childs name
and class) along with the correct money enclosed and left in the class lunch box (in the class
room) by 8am;
This class lunch box will be taken to the canteen, orders filled and returned to the classroom in
time for snack and lunch breaks;
Primary students may not access the canteen during snack break
Children in Grades 3-5 may access the canteen during lunch, after the standard eating time in
order to purchase anything additional (please note, however, that no food is permitted on the
playing fields at any time).
Middle Years Students (Grade 6-10)
For all snack and lunch purchases, students from Middle Years may line up at the canteen
servery and purchase directly over the counter;
They may also sit and eat in one of the two rooms available for that purpose.
After School
After school snacks may be purchased at the conclusion of the school day, should there be
availability;
Parents waiting for students may also purchase refreshments (coffee/tea/juices) and snacks
during this time.
