Certificate III in Roof Plumbing

COURSE OVERVIEW

TAFE NSW - New England Institute

The Certificate III in Roof Plumbing provides a trade outcome in roof plumbing, and covers common
skills for the plumbing industry, as well as roof plumbing specialist units of competency.

RTO code 90001

The plumbing industry affirms training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be
undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires
all units of competency to be delivered in this context.
Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for
Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction
work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in 25 units of competency:

3 elective units

exempt you from attending one or more units. It is
possible to obtain Recognition for up to 100% of
the requirements for a course award. For further

The amount you will pay to study at TNE will depend on where you live and/or work. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. The
fee that is displayed is the price for a learner who meets the Smart and Skilled eligibility criteria and is completing their first full qualification. The
fee you pay may be lower or higher depending on your personal circumstances and eligibility for a subsidised place, a fee concession or a fee
exemption. In some cases there are limited NSW government subsidised places available. Please contact our Customer Support Team on 1800
448 176 for your personal fee assessment and to find out if you are eligible for a NSW Government subsidised place. We can also discuss payment
options with you.
If you do not gain a NSW government subsidised place you may be able to enrol and pay the non-subsidised fee. There are no fee exemptions,
