MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 069-2014

APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE UNUTILIZED PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE
FUND (PDAF) PER AUDIT OBSERVATION MEMORANDUM (AOM) No. 2014-004 (13) DATED
MAY 14, 2014.

WHEREAS,
the Municipal Treasurer, as directed by Audit Observation Memorandum
(AOM) No. 2014-004(13), requested this august body for the passage of a resolution approving the
transfer of the unutilized Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) to the unappropriated
surplus of the General Fund of the National Government;
WHEREAS,
upon due perusal of the said Audit Observation Memorandum and upon
due consideration of the salient points herein, indeed, the Supreme Court of the Philippines in the
consolidated cases cited in said AOM, has pronounced that the remaining PDAF funds x x x shall
not be disbursed/released but instead reverted to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund
of the National Government;
WHEREAS,
the Municipality of Guinobatan has an unutilized PDAF fund totalling to
Php565,829.78 from the different projects implemented herein from different legislators;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay
in session assembled, to approve as it hereby approves the transfer of unutilized Priority
Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) per Audit Observation Memorandum (AOM) No. 2014-004
dated May 14, 2014.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Municipal Treasurer
and such other concerned offices/agencies, for their information and appropriate action.
