Students who wish to enroll should fill in the Registration Form
enclosed with this information brochure and submit to us.
The duly filled in Registration form should be accompanied by a
Demand Draft in favour of UNIFIED COUNCIL payable at
Hyderabad for the following:

Examination Fee (Rs.100) + SPR (Rs.15)+ Set of Question papers
(Rs. 40/-)+ Postal charges for sending Success series book, MQP,
Hall Ticket, Certificate & SPR (Rs.45 )

courier/Speed Post only.

4,50,000 students participated in NSTSE-2014. This shows the

popularity of this examination. NSTSE has been appreciated for its utility
as a tool for catalyzing improvement. The NSTSE is also conducted
simultaneously in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Yemen, Oman,
Kuwait, Russia, Nepal, Libiya, Bahrain, Iran and Tanzania.

NSTSE will be based on the CBSE syllabus. 85% of the Syllabus considered
for setting the NSTSE Question Paper.

Syllabus

NSTSE question papers are also suitable for students following ICSE/ISC
and various other State Board syllabi.
Examination Schedule

National Level Science Talent Search Examination - 2015

Date : 25th January, 2015 (Sunday)

Time : 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

The NSTSE shall be a comprehensive, independent examination that

delivers challenging and high quality educational experience through a
broad array of applied learning settings.
The NSTSE question papers are scientifically designed to test
concepts underlying the curriculum in a interesting way.
NSTSE, aimed at providing valuable and detailed diagnostic reports for
specific improvement and further development of school students.
While NSTSE encourages students to reason critically and solve
problems, it also helps to boost confidence and enable students to
realize their optimum potential.

Examination Fee
Students who wish to appear for the NSTSE are required to pay an
Examination Fee of Rs. 100 + Rs.15 towards Student's Performance
Report (SPR).

Students desirous of referring to a set of previous years / Model

Question Papers should add Rs. 40. This set is a combination of
previous / model NSTSE Question Papers.

All the above rankers (I-IX) will be offered a discount coupon of 50%
on www.mapmySTEP.com - Indias FIRST scientifically designed
portal for Olympiad & Talent Exams preparation.
All the rankers (1-100) toppers will be awarded with a Britannica
Encyclopedia Ready Reference CD ROM & Explorers and
Innovators CD ROM (2 CD PACK) worth Rs. 1494, a Medal and a
certificate of appreciation.
Participation certificates for all the students who appeared for the
examination.
Prizes for State Toppers :
Top 3 rankers in each state (minimum of 10,000 students in a
particular state) will be awarded with a special award as a token of
encouragement. He/she will be awarded with a Britannica
Encyclopedia Ready Reference CD ROM & Explorers and
Innovators CD ROM (2 CD PACK) worth Rs. 1494, a Medal &
certificate of appreciation.
Note: State wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 100 ranks
across the country.
* NSTSE Topper : A student of any class who achieves 100% marks will
be awarded with a prize money of Rs. 2,00,000. If none of the students
achieves the same, then the student who achieves the highest
percentage of marks among all the classes will be awarded with
Rs. 1,00,000. If there is more than one student who achieves the same,
the prize money will be distributed equally. Each topper will get either
this prize or the regular prize (refer B).

XII (PCM & PCB).
Examination Pattern
There will be a separate question paper for each class. The medium of the
exam will be in English only.
All questions are in objective-type with no negative marking for
wrong answers.

A. NSTSE topper will be awarded with Rs. 2,00,000 cash prize*. The
student who achieves the highest percentage of marks among all
the classes is declared as NSTSE Topper.
B.

The top 3 rankers in each class will be awarded with a Tablet PC +

Memento + Medal.

C.

The next 7 rankers in each class (Ranks 4-10) of classes II-XII will be
awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000.

D. The next 15 rankers in each class (Ranks 11-25) of classes II-XII will
be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 500.
E.

Rankers 26-100 of each class will be awarded with BMA's Talent &
Olympiad Exams Resource Book from M/S. Brain Mapping
Academy.

Consolation Prizes
Top ranker in each class from selected cities* will be awarded with a
Britannica Encyclopedia Ready Reference CD ROM & Explorers
and Innovators CD ROM (2 CD PACK) worth Rs. 1494.
Note: City wise topper is declared after the 100 ranks across the
country and state toppers.
City Rank (for every Class) will be declared for the classes having a
minimum of 500 students in a particular city.
