Product Description
A CableServ Amplifier Upgrade expands the
bandwidth of your existing amplifiers, while retaining
amplifier spacing. These two factors combine to allow
cable operators to gain additional bandwidth, but at
the fraction of the cost of purchasing and installing
new amplifiers.
CableServ has applied this cost saving formula
to 450 and 550 MHz SX Series Trunk Amplifiers,
increasing the bandwidth up to 625 or 750 MHz
without requiring a change in amplifier spacing*.
The 625MHz bandwidth upgrades features the
necessary modifications coupled with our 650 MHz
Twin Pad EQ for easy set-up utilizing a standard SXP
Pad.
The 750MHz bandwidth upgrades features a new
trunk and bridger board utilizing modern design and
GaAs Technology.
The upgrade of the cable systems amplifiers is
performed at CableServs facility by a skilled team of
CATV technicians equipped with state-of-the art
Network Analyzers. CableServ provides field
engineering support and services to facilitate the
implementation of our forward path upgrade
products.
*A system survey is required in order to determine
the maximum bandwidth that is achievable in relation
to existing amplifier spacing.
