He is one of the founding members of the Ateneo Blue Repertory back in 1990.
He performed in our productions of Pippin and Godspell, and directed the
sophomore production of the company, The Wiz. He is an alumnus of the Lee
Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, and today, he is a practicing acting director
for television commercials. Jules Dacanay returns to the Ateneo Blue Repertory
with a joyful, ripened and excited eye for its future.
Ejay Yatco
He recently musically directed three shows for Sandbox Collective's Imaginarium
Festival: Dani Girl, Boy in the Bathroom, and Real Life Fairytales, a song cycle
that featured his original compositions. His critically acclaimed works include the
arrangement and musical direction of Sa Wakas, a rock musical featuring the
songs of the band Sugarfree for which he was nominated in Broadwayworld for
Best Musical Direction. Aside from this, he conceptualized and composed music
and lyrics for Toilet the Musical. Last year, he represented the Philippines in the
World Championship of Performing Arts where he made it to the Final 3
instrumentalists of the world and took home one gold and three silver medals.
Other theatre shows that he musically directed include Spring Awakening,
Company Call: BlueRep at 20, Little Shop of Horrors, Hair, and Edges.
Al Garcia
He is an independent dance artist, choreographer, and performer. He is a
member of the UP Dance Company where he has been featured in productions
such as Pedro Kusinero and Myrna Beltrans Itim Asu. He also choreographed for
the theatre productions Paglipas ng Limang Taon staged by the Sipat Liwan
Ensemble, Dexter Santos Rizal X, Collection, and Ang Nawawalang Kapatid,
staged by Dulaang UP. He was the Philippine delegate to the Taipei Dance Elite
Academy Festival last 2010, and he choreographed his first full length production
entitled Sulog sa Kinabuhi last October 2011. Al Bernard Garcia won first prize at
the Wi-fi Contemporary Dance Festival 2012 New Choreographers Competition
held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Raflesia Chiarra Bravo
She has professional experience in chorale singing, musical theater and
dance. She is currently faculty and member of the Daloy Dance Company. She
was a scholar of the Julie Borromeo School of Performing Arts and later became
its faculty for Hip Hop and Ballet. Also, she was a scholar of the School of
Theater, Arts and Dance. As a professional singer, she is a member of Coro de
Manila and the NAMCYA Champion in year 2004-2005 and Aliw Awardee for Best
Chorale Group, the Ramon Magsaysay Chorale. As an actor, she has essayed
leading roles such as Teresias in Tanghalang Ateneos Break Away Antigone,
and Diwata in Sandosenang Sapatos and as "Mare" in Kleptomaniacs, A Rap
Musical, both directed by Tuxq Rutaquio in Tanghalang Pilipino. Her other
productions include Tanghalang Pilipinos Kleptomaniacs and San Andres B, Tree
House Productions Russian Princess and Sons of Egypt, PETAs Pamana. There
is much to look forward to in Rafs artistic career, as she embarks on honing her
many skills with a range of diverse companies. Her upcoming projects are
College of St. Benilde School of Design and Arts Agyu: Patungo sa Paraiso a
dance theater performance, and Kobalt Works COKE which will tour in
Amsterdam

Set Designer:
She is a graduate of Literature and Theater Arts from the Ateneo de Manila
University in 2008. Also, she graduated from the Philippine School of Interior
Design with honors. Her experience includes being the designer for blueREPs
Spring Awakening.
