1. General guidelines

Ma nuscripts are accepted in English. Any con sistent spelling and punctuation styles m ay be used. Please use single quotation m arks, except where a quotation is
within a quotation. Lon g quotations of words or m ore should be indented with quotation m arks.
A typical manu script will not exceed 1 0000 wo rds excluding tables, references, c aptions, footnotes and endnotes. Manuscripts that greatly exceed this will be
critically rev iewed w ith respect to length. Authors should inc lude a w ord count with their m anuscript.
Ma nuscripts should be com piled in the follow ing order: title pag e; abstract; keyw ords; main tex t; acknow ledgements; references; appendices (as appropria te);
table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pa ges); figure caption(s) (as a list).
Abstracts of 100 wo rds are required for all manu scripts submitted.
Each m anuscript should hav e 5 to 7 keyw ords.
Sea rch engine optimization ( SEO ) is a m eans of mak ing you r article m ore visible to anyone wh o m ight be looking for it. Please consult our guidance here.
Section headings should be concise.
All authors of a m anuscript should include their full nam es, affiliations, posta l addresses, telephone num bers and em ail addresses on the cover page of the
ma nuscript. One author should be identified as the corresponding author. Please give the affiliation w here the research w as conducted. If any of the named
co-authors m oves a ffilia tion during the peer review process, the new affiliation can be given as a footnote. Please note that no changes to affiliation can be m ade
after the ma nuscript is accepted. Please note that th e ema il a ddress of the corresponding author will no rmally be displayed in the article PDF (depending on the
journal style) and the online article.
All persons who have a reasonable cla im to authorship m ust be named in the m anuscript as c o-a uthors; the corresponding author m ust be authorized by all
co-authors to a ct as an ag ent on their behalf in all m atters pertaining to publication of the ma nuscript, a nd the order of names should be agreed by all authors.
Biographical notes on con tributors a re not required for this journal.
Please supply all details required by any funding and gran t-awa rding bodies as a n Ac know ledgement on the title pa ge of the manuscript, in a separate pa ragraph,
as follow s:
For single agency grants: "This work wa s supported by the [Funding Agency] under G rant [n umber xxxx ]."
For m ultiple agency grants: "This w ork w as supported by the [Funding Agency 1] under Grant [number xxx x]; [Funding Agency 2] under G rant
[num ber x xxx] ; and [Fun ding Agency 3] under G rant [num ber xx xx]."
Authors m ust also incorporate a Disclosure Statement wh ich will a cknow ledge a ny financial interest or benefit they have a rising from the direct applications of
their research.
For all m anuscripts non-discriminatory langua ge is m andatory. Sexist or racist term s mu st not be used.
Authors m ust adhere to SI units. Un its are not italicised.
When using a word w hich is or is asserted to be a proprietary term or tra de ma rk, a uthors mu st use the sy mbol or TM.

3. Figures

Please provide the highest quality fig ure format possible. Please be sure that a ll im ported scanned m aterial is sca nned at the appropriate resolution: 1200 dpi for
line art, 600 dpi for gray scale and 300 dpi for c olour.
Figures must be sav ed separate to text. Please do not em bed figures in the ma nuscript file.
Files should be saved as one of the follow ing formats: TIFF (tag ged im age file format), PostScript or EPS (encapsulated PostScript), a nd should contain a ll the
necessary font in formation a nd the source file of the application (e.g . CorelDraw /Mac, CorelDraw /PC).
All figures must be num bered in the order in w hich they appear in the m anuscript (e.g . Fig ure 1, Figu re 2). In multi-part fig ures, each part should be la belled (e.g.
Figure 1(a), Figu re 1( b)).
Figure ca ptions m ust be saved separately , as part of the file containing the complete text of the ma nuscript, a nd numbered correspondingly.
The filenam e for a graphic shou ld be descriptive of the graphic, e.g. Figure1, Figure2a.

There is no submission fee for Mobilities.
Page charges
There are no pag e charges for Mobilities.
Colour charges
Authors should restrict their use of colour to situations where it is necessary on scientific, and not m erely cosm etic, groun ds. Colour figures will be reproduced in colour in
the online edition of the jou rnal free of charge. If it is necessary for the figures to be reproduced in colour in the print version, a c harge will apply. Cha rges for c olour figures
in print are 250 per figure ( $395 US Dollars; $385 Australian Dolla rs; 315 Euros). I f you w ish to have m ore than 4 colour figures, figures 5 a nd above will be charged at
50 per fig ure ($80 U S Dollars; $7 5 Au stralian Dollars; 63 Euros). Waivers m ay apply for som e articles plea se con sult the Production Editor regarding waivers.
Dependin g on your location, these charges m ay be subject to Value Added Tax.
5. Reproduction of copy right material

If yo u wish to include any m aterial in your ma nuscript in w hich you do not hold copyright, you must obtain written permission from the copyrigh t ow ner, prior to
submission. Such ma teria l ma y be in the form of text, data, table, illustration, photograph, line draw ing, a udio clip, video clip, film still, and screenshot, an d a ny
supplemental material y ou propose to include. This applies to direct (verba tim or facsim ile) reproduction as w ell a s derivative reproduction (w here you have created a
new figure or table w hich derives substantia lly from a copyrighted source).
