ERRANDS DAYS
Applicants will be given an Errands sheet that will consist of 57 tasks. The tasks in the
errands sheet can be accomplished either individually or by group depending on what is
required in the task. Upon entering the tambayan, the applicants must introduce
themselves (I am (name of app)) and all members in the tambayan must be greeted as
Maam or Sir (insert name) with a 45 degree bow. The tasks will be done around the CHE
complex and some landmarks in UP.
An applicant must let a member sign their errand sheet in order to validate the errand.
Each member of the organization must be able to sign once in the errands sheet. In order
to help your co-applicants, you can repeat the other group tasks.
All errands sheet must be submitted on or before the last day of the event which is on
Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 5:30 PM. Applicants who can pass their complete
Errands sheets before the deadline must let an Internals Committee member write their
time of submission and give their signature. An additional of 5 points will be given to the
first three applicants that will be able to submit their complete errands sheet.

PAN EXAM
On October 21, 2014 at exactly 6 pm, a PAN Exam will be held in the Gusali 2 D. The
PAN Exam will evaluate the knowledge of the applicants regarding the organization, its
members and nutrition. The exam questions will include different type of test such as Fill
in the blanks, Identification, Matching type and etc.
At the start of the event, the applicants will be seated alphabetically and be arranged two
seats apart. Afterwards, a member of the Internals Committee will brief the applicants
about the direction of the exam. After giving the directions, the PAN Exam papers will be
given to the applicants. The PAN exam will end at exactly 8 pm.
To the applicants who have class from 5pm to 7pm, they can take the exam as soon as
possible within the time period. The event head can extend the time of the exam if
needed. Lastly, the applicant must message the event head if he/she has any concern
about the schedule of the PAN exam.

Buddy Quiz Bee


The participants of the event will be the applicants of PAN Alpha and their respective
buddy members. In this event, the applicant and their buddy must have the same
answer to a particular question in order to score a point. The questions will be any
information about the buddy member such as likes, interests, hobbies and etc. The
Buddy Quiz Bee will be held on October 22, 2014 at CHE Gusali 2- D at exactly 6 pm.

Mechanics
The room will be divided into two in which the applicants will be seated on one side
while the buddy members will be seated in the other side of the room. Each participants
of the quiz bee will be given with chalk and blackboard to answer 25 questions. The
questions will be read by the host twice, and then the applicants and buddy members
will have to answer the question in 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, all participants must
place their chalk in the table and raise their boards simultaneously. The applicant will
score a point if he/she has the same answer with his/her buddy member. Three
members from the organization will check the answers of the participants and tally their
scores. General answers in the quiz bee such as, all, none, nothing, everything
will not be considered and will be marked as incorrect. At the end of the activity, the
scores of the applicants will be totaled

TALENTS NIGHT
The culminating event of the Challenge Week is the applicants Talents Night. The
event will test the applicants cooperation and organizing skills in planning, proposing
and implement an event. Throughout the course of the planning process the Internals
Committee will guide the applicants and ask for updates.

In the Talents Night, the applicants present performances showcasing their talents in
front of all the members of the organization. The performances of the applicants will be
graded based on the criteria that will be set by the Internals Committee. Bonus points
will be given to applicants who will perform with their member-buddy. At the end of the
Talents Night, special awards will be given to the applicants depending on the theme
set by the organizers.

COMMITTEE INTERSHIP
As part of this semesters application process, applicants will be undergoing internship
under the different committees of the organization. For a period set by the Internal
Affairs Committee, the applicants will be experiencing the tasks of the committee
designated to them. Specifically, they are required to accomplish tasks which highlight
the primary role of each committee to the organization.

At the end of the internship, the applicants will be presenting their outputs to the
members of the organization. A formal presentation of their outputs will be conducted in
Gusali 2-D on October 25, 2014, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
