a. A possible way to distinguish your lobsters from those of other
vendors include tying their claws up with bright bands that have your
companys name, phone number, and logo on them.
b. A possible result of this differentiation may be that a passer by sees
your lobster and the logo on the band, so contacts you next time he
wants lobsters. Also the customer will not forget where he got the
lobster from last time being able to keep the rubber band in the
kitchen nearby with the phone number easily assessable.

Bills actions of inflating his actual cost of food and lodging for his trip
to Brazil is highly unethical, regardless of whether the company would
find out or not. His actions are not acceptable. He has a corporate
social responsibility he must maintain, which is defined as being a
good corporate citizen. This entails balancing the objective of
profitability with the objective of giving proper attention to issues such
as environmental sustainability and energy conservation, and avoiding

actions that would lower the quality of life in the communities in which
a company operates and sells its products or services. He is failing his
corporate responsibility to his employer for stealing unused money.

If I were John, I would have that order sent to Europe cancelled
immediately, even if four months worth of sales would be thrown to
waste. It is the companys ultimate promise to the customer on the
line, and it is his job to ensure that engineers design electric switches
that can be manufactured to meet households cost and quality
requirements. It is both his and his companys reputation at state with
a bad batch of electric switches being sent. Even though it will be
embarrassing to call back the shipment, it will be the right thing to do.
