Pastors Notes:
Oh our Lord is coming back
to earth again. Yes our Lord
is coming back to earth again.
Satan will be bound a thousand years, well
have no tempter then. After Jesus shall come back to earth again. I thought of that song
last week as I was preparing for the message Sunday about the Lords coming. Oh how the
church needs to become passionate about His coming again! Only when we truly looking for
Him, desiring Him, singing about His coming, will the church be active in the here and now as
we should be. I gave you 4 things quickly Sunday that should help us be passionate about His
Coming. #1 His Return the Lord HIMSELF. He is not sending anyone else to get us,
HE is coming. Oh glory! #2 Resurrection.the dead in Christ will rise We do not need
to worry about those that have died in the Lord because when He comes, they will get up out of
the ground. #3 Rapture.we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP. The
word rapture is not found in the Bible. Rapture is a Latin word which means catching
away. That is what will happen. We will suddenly lose our gravitation and be caught up.
#4 REUNION..to meet the Lord in the air. There is two reunions. The first is meeting
the Lord in the air. Oh what a time that will be. Being with Him and never having to be
separated. Secondly, we will be reunited with all our loved ones and friends that had gone on to
heaven before us. What a glad reunion day!
Now, why is this important? You see, if we have a passion for His Coming, it will drive us to
live right so we will be ready to meet Him. It will drive us to live right so that we can be faithful
servants down here and live to please Him. But it also drives us to want others to go where we
are going and therefore drive us to be passionate about souls. And if we are passionate about
souls, we must have passionate about revival because a revived church is a church spurned with
evangelism. And if we a revived, then we know we must have become passionate about the
church because revival is for the church, not sinners. And if we have become passionate about
the church, then we must have become passionate about God Himself. These all tie together and
the passion for one leads to the other. May we, in 2015, seek God like we have never sought
Him before. May we long for Him and strive to find Him. May we be passionate about Him, the
church, revival, souls and His coming like never before.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW MEMBERS!!!!!! We are so pleased to welcome into our church
fellowship Johnathan & Ashley Godfrey, Jackie Maxwell and Chuck Allen. Please make sure you
speak to these wonderful people and let them know how blessed we are to have them join with us.

If there are any men that would be interested in a Bible Study with Pastor Terry, please send
him an email at PastorT@charter.net. Please give your name and the time that would best suit
you to meet. This study is just a time to grow as a disciple and follower of Christ.
Our annual FAST will begin on February 15th and will go for 21 days. Mark your calendar
and plan to be part of this fast with us. We have done this for the past 5 years as preparation
for our Revival services in March. Some things only come about by prayer & fasting.
WWV Home Group will be held at 6:30pm at the Nemitz Home on Friday, Feb 20.

Hey yall, I hope your week is off to a great start and that you are finding yourselves blessed of
the Lord. For you guys who did not get to attend the married couples retreat, you really missed a
great time. Remember your "Courageous" pledge guys? What about this, "I Will". I challenge
each married man to take the lead on this for next year and plan NOW for you and your wife to
attend. Come on guys, take the initiative on this. We the men of Woodruff Church Of God want
to be the spiritual leader of our homes and of our church that God desires for us to be.
And fellers, Don't forget about our monthly meeting this coming Thursday at 6:30 in the
mancave. Wayne Bishop has some great vittles for us and trust me you do not want to miss this.
Our brother, Adam Jones has given me a sneak peek at the devotion that the Lord has given to
him and you will want to be there for this word from the Lord. I'm just sayin.....

In February on Saturday the 7th we will be going to a Greenville Growl hockey game that starts
at 7pm. We may be able to get a group discount if we have enough people commit ahead of
time.
In March on Saturday the 28th we will be having a 70's night at our gameroom that will include
mirror ball, strobe lights, fog machine, decorations, and 70's music. Everyone should dress in
attire from the 70's as we will be voting for prizes on several categories such as most original,
best dresses, etc. Each person is asked to bring some finger foods. This should be lots of FUN!
There will be sign-up sheets on our bulletin board in the hallway at church for each of these
upcoming activities.
Please invite others that don't usually participate as people hesitate until someone extends a
personal invitation and shows an interest in getting them involved so they can get to know others
in the church.

Starting Wednesday, February 4 we will be having a class for post high school graduates.
The ages will be 18-29. They will meet in the Man Cave under the sanctuary. Please join us for
this newly organized class!

WinterJam 2015 is February 6. We will leave the church as soon as we can after school. We
need to get there as early as possible.

Teen Talent is February 20 & 21. We will post a schedule as soon as we receive one.

Fundraiser for Extreme Kidz: Family Movie Night Friday February 27@ 6:00 pm in the CLC.
Adult tickets $4.00 and Children Tickets $2.00. There will be concession sold at the Extreme
Kidz Movie Night. The cost of concession will be from a $1.00 to $5.00. All proceeds will go
Kids Fest in April. Movie title will be announced at a later date.
