for the International Sanskrit Conference on
''Sciences in Sanskrit Literature '' on 12th, 13th
& 14th Feb, 2015 in our College. The success of the
conference naturally depends on the active
participation of University, College and School
teachers, Research scholars, Citizens interested in
Sanskrit studies So we request you to propagate about
this conference and encourage large number of
Participants.

About the College:

Sangamner College, one of the multi-faceted
educational institutes, was established in June
1961 with dedicated efforts of Shikshan Prasarak
Sanstha, Sanagmner. The main objective of the
institute is to impart education to the
economically backward and weaker sections of
the society. The 50 acre campus is utilized to run
various projects of UG and PG courses. The
college is re-accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade
and is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.
The department of Sanskrit runs UG and PG
courses along with Research Center. The
department has strong research wing with many
completed and ongoing research projects. The
department is known for its contribution for
development of Sanskrit. Many research papers
are published in national and international
journals by the faculty. This department also
provides consultancy services to the society
Sanskrit teacher, students and other institutions.
Most of the alumni are settled in noble
professions like teaching, research and in many
other prominent fields.

Sciences in Sanskrit.
Sanskrit literature is the base of Indian
schools of Sciences like Poetics, Linguistics,
Architecture, Botany, Economics, Politics,
Geography, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry, Yoga, Astronomy, Engineering,
Aeronautics, Music, Metallurgy, Arithmetic,
Medicine, Agriculture, Warfare, Phonetics,
Epigraphy, Management, Computer Science,

Manuscriptology, etc.
Scholars are requested to send research
papers in Sanskrit, Marathi, Hindi, English.
Papers dealing with Prakrit & Pali are also
welcome for the conference.
