there, child A was born. Mr. and Mrs. Lee are natural-born Filipinos.
What is the citizenship of child A at the time of birth? Is it American or Filipino
citizenship, or both? Qualify your answer by citing the supporting principle or principles.
2. Miss Deniece Cornejo was born on January 11, 1973, of a Filipino mother and a Chinese
father. Her parents got married on November 30, 1971. What is the citizenship of Deniece
during her minority? How about after reaching the age of majority? Qualify your answer
by citing the supporting principle or principles.
3. Mr. Vhong Navarro was charged of the crime of rape against Miss Deniece Cornejo on
December 23, 2014 and was later on acquitted for the crime charged. On the following
year, May 2015, there will be an election to be held. Can Vhong Navarro exercise his
right of suffrage? Why? Explain very briefly.
4. Mr. Dee Nhalhilhigo was an Iranian citizen. He stayed in the Philippines for two years
and later on applies for naturalization. His application then was approved and he was
naturalized as a Filipino citizen. After a year, he met Miss Ahng Dood at the Boracay,
who is an African citizen. They got married immediately. What is now the citizenship of
Miss Ahng Dood after marrying Mr. Dee Nhalhilhigo?
5. Zeus Mar Yhu Zep was sentenced of the crime of murder which is punishable under the
Philippine laws for more than one year of imprisonment. Question, can Zeus Mar Yhu
Zep exercise his right of suffrage? Qualify your answer.
6. Cindy Biglanggahasa is a deaf-mute person. She was born as deaf-mute; On May 23,
2015 there will be a general election and at that date she is already qualified to vote as a
registered voter. Now, can Cindy Biglanggahasa vote despite of being a deaf-mute or
disabled?

8. Baby Ama was a child born out of wedlock to a Filipino mother and an alien father. What

during an election but was questioned because she was disqualified to vote. If you were
the judge, how will you decide on this case?
10. Can the congress abolish the constitutional commissions? Why?
