Pivot & Linear Move Machine
Center pivot irrigation systems are composed of self-propelled structures equipped with irrigators and control units used to irrigate large
areas with low capital investment costs. It is composed of several pipes connected to the water source and is located around 4 meters
above the ground level. Sprinklers are suspended on towers with different spacing ranging from 30 - 60 meters. A pivot system moves in
circles and is supported by two wheel bases which are controlled by synchronized eletrical motors. It is a long service life system with low
maintenance cost. Pivots offered by Adritec are lighter in weight, more efficient, and are long service life machines.
Pivot Point Features

The pivot point is engineered to withstand the stress and force exerted on it by the pivot system under all field conditions. The clean open
design allows easy access to the controls while it provides a safer setting and simple access to other components requiring minimal
maintenance. It can be easily retro-fitted to any substantial competitive pivot pad when the need to upgrade existing equipment is
required.

Poly Lined
Towers
A single-leg tower is a roll formed, 9 gauge (7 gauge optional), C-channel, measuring 8" x 3" x 1.25" with 60,000 psi yield strength. These
legs are attached to the trussing with a 3" stiffener made of galvanized tubing. These high-strength materials require no additional bracing at the tower and provide a narrow profile which reduces the contact with taller crops as well as reduces the interference of the
sprinkler stream.
End Booms
End Booms are available in several lengths (3', 13', 23', 32', 42', 51', 61', 85' and 105'). Truss rods and inverted truss supports provide the
primary support for strength and stability. The 6" sand trap and control box, for the optional booster pump, are located near the tower
for ease of servicing. The booster pump itself is located at the end gun for maximum efficiency.

Pivot & Linear Move Machine
The lateral ( Linear ) move systems allow farmers to irrigate up to 98 percent of a square or a rectangular field, as well as "L-shaped" fields.
With a choice of water supply and guidance systems, each linear move system can be customized to individual needs. These systems
are designed to irrigate fields from 3 to 13 hectares.
Water Supply Options

Three main methods are used to supply the lateral move system with irrigation water:-
Hose-Fed Sytems
Depending on flow requirements, water is supplied from a pressurized mainline through either 4", 6" or 8" hoses.
The length of the hose depends on the irrigation water volume and field conditions. There are several optional
pivoting end towers that allow the hose-fed laterals to pivot 90 degrees without water in order to irrigate an
L-shaped field, or pivot 180 degrees to irrigate an adjacent field.
A towable option allows farmers to quickly move the equipment to nearby fields. This versatility can help significantly reduce per hectare equipment costs.
Growers also may choose from a two or a four-wheel end tower cart. The two-wheel system is designed for fields up to 397 meters wide,
and can pull up to 122 meters of 6 inch hard hose. The four-wheel system can irrigate fields up to 792 meters wide and pull up to 220
meters of 6 inch hard hose or 122 meters of 8 inch hard hose.
Ditch-Fed Systems
These lateral machines are easily adapted to existing flood irrigation sites and can be used on fields from 32
to 162 Ha in size. Existing ditches are often used when water is supplied from the edge of the field. However,
a variety of ditch types are used including level concrete and plastic-lined and sloped concrete. Depending
on the ditch type, water is drawn into the system through a choice of self-cleaning floating or rolling inlets. The
power needed to pump water and generate electricity is supplied by an on-board diesel engine generator set
or via an electric cable connected to the power outlet boxes along the line of travel of the machine.

Enclosed Pipeline Systems

These automated water delivery systems provide a solution for farms with difficult topographies or shape where
rolling terrain makes ditch-fed systems impractical. The enclosed pipeline lateral supplies water through a micro-processor controlled tractor unit which automatically couples and uncouples to risers located every 18
meters along a buried mainline. This system eliminates ditch construction and maintenance costs and permits
using the least-cost energy source for pumping.
Guidance Systems
Three proven methods provide accurate guidance for lateral move systems: above-ground steel cable, furrow or radio controlled using
a burried cable.

Sprinkler Systems
Micro sprinklers are ideal for such applications as horticulture, orchards, green houses, nurseries and landscape projects. They are made
of high quality durable plastic. It gives uniform water distribution of irrigation water with different droplet sizes, flow rates, diameters and
patterns. Micro sprinklers are supplied with a complete kit consisting of a spike, a PVC micro pipe, a wide range of nozzles and adaptors.
The wide range of micro sprinklers gives flexibility to provide the correct solution for all types of applications. Nozzels are color coded for
ease of identification of the different flow rates. Available as rotating, stable, stable-angled and mist patterns.

Check Valve is used to avoid leakage of the micro-sprinklers when irrigation is terminated, thus avoiding plant burns that can result
in greenhouses where temperature can reach up to 45 degree during summer. It is available in Red and Blue colors. The Check
Valve closes the passage of water to the micro-sprinkler when the pressure is 0.4 - 0.5 ATM (red), 1 -1 .1 ATM (blue). It opens when
the pressure is above 0.6 - 0.7 ATM(Red) and 1.8 - 1.9 ATM (Blue). When used as a (switch), the water remains in the pipe. With the
next irrigation it runs into the network where irrigation begins simultaneously at all micro-sprinklers. Working pressure range is 2 - 5
ATM. Minimum required filtration is 120 mesh. Can be used together with a Flow Controller when placed before a micro-sprinklers.

It is a fast and simple way to connect pipes with no loss in parts, a reliable system featuring high quality sealing rings.

Aluminium sprinkler pipe systems are made from a light weight aluminium alloy which is welded to couplers made of a cast alloy. It is
applicable for different types of farms and crops and is widely used in rugged hilly terrain where high pressure and light weight pipes are
essential. Pipes are produced from aluminium alloy 63400WP while couplers are from aluminium LM6. Pipes are available in different sizes
2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (50, 75, 100, 125, 150 mm) and a standard length 5.8 & 6.0 meters. Manufactured in accordance to American or
European standards. Maximum working pressure for all pipes and couplers in all diameters is 9 bar. Welding for both pipe and couplers
is done by auto MIC which minimizes heating so aluminium retains its strength. It uses a single hook bauer type coupler. A wide range of
fittings is available to cover all system requirements.
