System Operation Room video subtitle

Information collected from different sources will be sent to the System Room first,
which is next to the Operation Center. There is a 24-hour-standby communication
workstation that includes satellite phones, information/communication system and
projectors.
When the EOC is operated, the staff can start working here immediately to receive,
verify and follow up information from different sources. Then, they will analyze and
send the information to the Operation Center.
Operation Center video subtitle
Operation Center, on the 5th floor, is the brain of the Emergency Operations Center.
During a disaster, relevant departments shall enact emergency plans and have staff
stationed in the center. The center is an arc-shaped room containing 59 desks and 18
monitors at the front.
Left side of the monitors is a LED(Light Emitting Display) screen displaying realtime typhoon information from the Central Weather Bureau while the LED screen of
the other side displays information gathered from report system and pump stations all
over the City. Digital Media System Control is used to operate all the facilities.
Operation Center integrates information, communication and working space. Each
desk is equipped with a large monitor showing detailed data and information to help
officers analyze damages and make suggestions.
Decision Making Room video subtitle
Opposite the Operation Center is the Decision Making Room where the Commander
can have meetings. It is also equipped with information/communication system and
projectors. Information shown in the Operation Center can be shown here as well.
The Commander and Deputy Commanders can meet and discuss here without
disturbance.

The Commander Room, on the 5th floor, provides the Commander a space to have
meetings or to take a break.
Broadcasting Room video subtitle

Taipei Broadcasting Station belong to Taipei city emergency radio station. When a
disaster happens, announcers work in this studio and offer latest information to the
citizens.
Duty Room video subtitle
Disasters can occur at any time thus there must be staffed on duty 24 hours a day
including the staff of Fire Department and Health Department. In this room, the
information/communication system and monitoring system can ensure the Center's
security. When a disaster occurs, they will report and coordinate all departments as
well as elevate disaster level whenever needed.
Officers' Rooms/Staff Rooms video subtitle
There are 15 one-bed Officers' Rooms and 9 six-bed Staff Rooms for the staff from
the other departments.

Located on the 6th floor, the News Release Room is also equipped with
information/communication system and SNG cable socket outlets for SNG broadcast.
From the room, the panoramic view of the Operation Center is available.
It is independent from the Operation Center on the 5th floor and the Officers' Rooms
on the 6th floor. Journalists can work without being disturbed.
